I enjoyed both games, but the weapon creation system in the second gets annoying at some points but I think it's a huge improvement on the first. So the second wins!

i prefer summon night 1, the partners n storyline is better than 2

I liked Summon Night 1 a lot better! It was so much more fun, and I played it at least twenty times...and I only managed playing the second one twice...You can get better endings with the first one in my opinion, 'cuz in the second you basically have just summon creatures and siblings to choose from in your night talks! And a ghost..And yeah, I just liked the first one A LOT.

The duels in one were way more fun then the duels in two, breaking weapons in the second one is just so easy.But the second one is a lot more in depth (Both combat, story, and smithing wise,) and I like that more. So, I'd have to say the second one.

the 2nd 1 hands down tho both were WICKID AWESOME! the 2nd 1 has a better story ,the graphics say alot more too

Number one seemed more original. You could only do it once, but you did get to sell some stuff, if you chose too. And I disliked the town in 2, and what you had to do.

one, cause your summon creature was a bigger part of the story....in this one, the summon creature doesnt really matter much....

SS2 is a repeat of SS1. SS1 was really kewl but SS2 got annoying with its field weapons. The transformation is kewl but not kewl enuf

well, thats a hard dessison to make. SS1 was fun, but after you beat the game not much to do, just the exhibition tortanment, finish weapon & bestariy and explore the maze. (you can actually go to floor 100)on the other hand, SS2 had more side quests, graphics improved, the transformation, and extra moodso, i would say that SS2 is better

I like summon night one betterbecause it's the origanal and I like the gurdian beasts better than the second.

i like number 2 better because the summon beasts are more interactive with the player than in number 1, and the weapon system is totally better than in number one
