The balanced team is best because many rpg“s have a slight problem with random targets and usually there“s a member of the team that gets trashed in the process!

you can say that again! i count count the number of time Ivan gets owned in golden sun, by some pretty weak attacks. well, as for the topic, it really depends, but i like to hav 1 char a little stronger then the others, like in pokemon, a bunch of level 50's, then a level 60-70. not overly powered, but enough for an extra oomph. i remember, in SO2 for the PS1, i got claude to level 130 something before most of my Chars reached 80!

Mmm.... usually in RPGs. A lot of people tend to power play. Meaning they head quickly towards the boss and doesn't explore the dungeon more. In RPGs, It's always best to explore the dead ends sometimes and this time around, actually talk to the town's folk. This way, you give the heroes experience and money, and not to mention what you will find in those long dead ends. Most important of all (which I've learned when I first played breath of fire) is to buy many potions, herbs or the item that restores your health when you first play. Saving up for equipments is also important, but they'll just become junk when your dead. So it's not a bad idea to spend all your money on potions and a few status ailment cures.

Definitely a balanced team. It's less economic than having to buy healing items for only one character, but nowadays, magic, offensive and healing is almost essential to survival, and mages are hardly ever tankish enough. Also, now, last bosses are too powerful to defeat with just one super character, let alone the secret bosses.

I prefer 1 super strong character. Like in Langrisser V in Saturn. The last stage only need the main character for beating the last boss. The others are useless.

When I have a team of six, i usually have one character with his own specialty. For example, 2 balanced, 1 melee, 1 ranged, 1 fast dude, 1 brute, But balance is still the best

I usually have the main character always on top, with the rest balanced and strong. Not stronger than the main character, unless it is an absolute tank

i like my team raised in a well balanced manner as well. seriously, if you rely on only one character and s/he dies, you're gonna feel like breaking something. trust me i felt like it.

i like to balance my characters. relying on one person can be a dangerous move if the others have NOTHING on them. but if there is one super strong and the others being support (heal + augment moves) it could work...but still risky.

I like having a team that has the same levels, because if you don't have the same level people you would die alot faster.

I tend to make my main character stronger than the other, it's true thet if he dies you are probably f@%ed but that does't ussually hapen.

I like balanced team unless there is the main character. The main character I usually have more stats for him/her by a couple, not too rigged though.

I place the objects but powerful in the main character and soon I am choosing to the following ones. In order to be accommodating the force.

i'd rather have a balanced team coz every character has a weakness and as soon as the so called weakness comes along, u cant rely on him any more.
