Im not sure if this would be considered balanced or not but for most rpgs, i have a system in place for the combat systemfor 2 character I usually have them both good at offensive and curativefor 3 character i have 1 Offensive (usually a very good fighter though sometimes its a mage, and sometimes its a mage/fighter) 2 Curativefor 4 character i have 1 Fighter, 1 Mage offensive and 2 curativesFor tactical rpgs i prefer to have 1 curative with summons, 1 time mage coupled with black magic and the rest are physically offensive

I like to have balanced teams, yet I always end up with one super strong character.Like in FF4, FF7, and pokemon. So far, they are only balanced in FF10 for the ps2, but this ist the gba section!

Balance because in Some games, there are Weaknesses and avantages... If your character is fighting in Battle and you connot escape, your Doomed. If the character dies, its game over.So l think balance is better(in pokemon Balance is way better trust me =.=)

Yeah, I balance my characters in all games, except Kingdom Hearts. Sora's too much of a powerhouse to have to waste items on party members. The only thing I really use them for is healing me. I could probably go through the game without them.

Balance! If you have a wide range of characters with different purposes and etc. it can get you out of any jam as long as you plan it right. I'm usually underlevelled in games, so this kind of strategy is a necessity, and I think it's more rewarding in the end. I'm playing FF12 right now, and this is especially true in that game. I'm at the 5 Mandragora dealies and I'm not even level 25 D:. Although, if there's a character i find particularily badass in a game, I will usually be more inclined to keep them ahead of the pack.

i would prefer a balanced for any kind of strategy, so incase one of them die, i still can depend on others character.

I prefer the balanced team. I used to have one god-like character but that never worked out in the end. I'd get cornered and beaten by some polar opposite player.

I need a balanced team to proceed into the game properly, or else... who knowns, i'll just get pwned over and over again.Sometimes it's fun though to have one character that's strong, but I don't think I'll beat a game like that.

Of course a balance, since it allows for far more strategy.

I'm used to balance teams because sometimes when I make one super strong character, when he dies... I'm screwed.

I make sure my team is completely balanced every time. No exceptions. It's the best way.

Balanced team suit more with me than one super strong characters. It allows for more options, and less chance of failure.

It depends on how much I like the characters. Usually I have a balanced team. Pokemon seems to be the one exception, though... For the beginning half of the game or so I invariably have one (or at most two) that'll be miles ahead of the other guys.

from what i see most people think balance is the key.....this total depends on the player...as for me i like to 1 uber character and the others with the ability to at least survive a little bit and cure/revive the uber or use the uber to level the others.....but hey like i said its completly up to the player.....you can go uber or you can go with a perfect team.
