you can make a balanced team with different skilled character, example: at pokemon game u can carry a blissey an a skarmory to balance defense and s. defense.

the true is that even if you try to keep all your team balansed the main hero will always eventually grow stronger that the rest of the team that is cause in most of RPG games some side characters join you after a few hours of gameplay, and by then the main protagonist as already get strenged and you have already get more used to play with him or her, besides I preffer to give the enhancers to my favorite character cause giving them to other characters most of times result dissapointly useless, I meant even thught you try to strenght them they still no match for the main hero and you end just using him all the same

well, a balanced team will work the best. it will take you a hard time for sure in the last parts of the game once you fed only 1 charcter with all the expies and stats.

I like a balanced team and I use them most of the time but there are times I want the other two to be slightly stronger than the rest so when you level up the weak characters at least there will be two who are a lot stronger and they'll just take care of the rest... but that's my style...

It's best to balance all characters in the respect that no one is too weak to the point where all you do is revive that weak character. However, every good rpg party needs a leader, and every good leader has a little edge.

It depends on the character. If it's a character I hate, like Cecil, Crono, Tidus, Squall etc.... I pretty much ignore the stats. But if it's a character like Rydia or Marle or Robo, I max 'em out.

it really depends on how you want to be in as if you want pure power you acn rely on a none balance team with only one having great stats but if you want to be balance you can level ur team to an average stats

I think balance is much more preferrable cause when that super character of yours dies it will be game over..

i always like to build one continuous caracter but in most games u share the experienc with ur members so people dont stay in level one and also think of it this way 2 lv 35 players will have a tough time with a level 57 moster but 1 lv 70 player will have no problem

i like leveling to be moderate.. so it wont take like 24 hrs of gameplay to level up to a decent level.. also for there to be a good plot

I like balanced stats, so everyone is eaqual and im not relying on one guy to bail out his team.

I've found that the way most RPGs are balanced, concentrating your power in one character is a tactically superior choice. However, one of the main problems I have with most RPGs is that they aren't sufficiently difficult. Consequently, I tend to enjoy them more when I play a balanced party. Also, specific character scenarios pop up all too frequently, and they tend to destroy underdeveloped characters.

No matter the strength of the "tank" you will need support like healing, support spells, spells that blind enemies and so on, and if your healer suddenly gets attacked and dies, You are SO owned!! So yeah, I like the more balanced teams.

A team of tanks would be perfectly fine, but there must be a strong support. Heck, I believe that the support should be stronger (magically) than your best tank, because power is all well and good, but it's better if you've got someone ready on the sidelines to restore and revive.
