I am playing Brain Age, but there are lines on the screen and it's very slow and laggy. The music is constantly skipping and the color is odd. Brain Age works fine in no$gba or whichever it is named, but I switch to iDeaS to rotate the screen.Examples of my screen:http://img205.images...6/image1pf4.jpghttp://img521.images...9/image2iv8.jpghttp://img521.images...1/image3xt1.jpgwhat i have:-I have the plug ins in my plugins folder-rotation = 270-frames skip = auto-increase cpu speed = 100%-save type = auto-Alpha Blending is unchecked-DirectSound Plugin > Synronize = best qualitySo,1. How do you get rid of the weird lines like these? Posted Image(image taken from the FAQ, this is not the image of my screen).... I did #2 from the FAQ here, but I can't find the Video Card setting like it states in the first answer to that FAQ question.2. How do I get it to be less laggy?I've checked this whole post, read every reply. Now my eyes feel like bleeding and I have no idea what else to try. :[

Yeah? Well, if you really do have the latest version with the latest plugins, then you wouldn't have had trouble finding "Disable Alpha Blending" at all.And having a "Dell Inspiron 1501" doesn't mean anything. If you want to make it less laggy, go get a supercomputer.

Rude much? All you had to do was say what the poster before you said. You don't have to treat the people you're trying to 'help' like idiots. Learn some manners, good god.

If I hadn't posted that, Ody would have posted the same thing.I'm not treating you like an "idiot", but asking "how do I make it less laggy" is an idiotic question. If you've really read through every single post like you said, you would have found a post like this one, which already tells you the game will lag.

All I'm saying is that instead of posting what you did, you could have been more helpful. Like in the last reply that you sent, you gave a link to a post that I missed out of a 10 page long thread that I had been reading at like four AM on two hours of sleep. Maybe instead of complaining about people asking the same questions, you could make an actual FAQ that is helpful and well updated. That way you won't have to give people comments such as 'Get a faster computer' when in actuallity you know nothing at all about their computer or their computer experience. And as for 'posting before Ody,' Ody was more helpful than you and I would have rather had them answer my question with something informative than something like what you told me.

You can check the first post for the FAQ. Ody and I update it all the time. We do it for all the emulators. This might interest you:

Q: The game is too slow, how can I increase the speed?A: Go to Options->Increase CPU Speed. Turning off the sound is also recommended but some games require it. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do more since the emulator is still not optimized for some games.

iDeaS should support save states; however you should use the normal in-game save to be on the safe side.It also sounds like you're missing plugins. Download it from the iDeaS website.

Yes but save states have a problem for this latest version so dont try it and wait for the next version. Lino is aware of that problem. :D
