Recently, I was going to write a gamesave for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (yeah it's a problem child...I got it fixed using the ISP patch). But after right clicking the game, and clicking "Saver Manager", the program waited like 5 seconds, then the Window's "----.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" window appears. I click Don't Send...as usual. This only applied to games INSIDE my flashcart (M3 Lite, slot 2). For games in my computer archive, it worked fine. Any solutions?P.S now i need the gamesave in order to transfer the Japanese "The World ends with you" save into the European one. Yeah, now it's needed.

So. As the recent flood of (now locked, christ, why can't the mods MERGE the topics into the ones they're redirecting the posters to as well as deducting the GP? This IS an IPBoard, isn't it? Seems a lot damn more helpful to me.) topics regarding Summon Night: Twin Age, what d'you guys think our solution as M3 users is? arm7 injection through SimCity DS (J) doesn't seem to work.

Well, I have firmware V35. V36 is only out in Chinese right now. As the M3 Wiki says, I tried out [1xDMA, Force R/W] by itself and the game didn't run (white screen, then permanent black), and when I put the arm7.bin there, and used [4xDMA, Force R/W, and Software Reset], the game would run, but it said that the save data was not found and that I should turn off the DS and reinsert the game card, blah blah.EDIT: I tried a non-arm7.bin-patched file with [4xDMA, Force R/W, and Software Reset] out of curiosity and it white-permablacked me as well. =(EDIT 2: Oh hey, more weird problems. I'm getting an error during startup (of the M3 software) about Summon Night: Swordcraft Story...:
IND-SNGT.GBAWarning! NDS GAME SAVE in card but CANNOT find ATUOSAVE backup file. Backup fail! Press A to continue.
So I do. Then I hit start to go into GBA Mode:
IND-SNGT.GBAWarning! NDS Save game already exists on this card, but autosave cannot be found. Backup failed. Press A to continue.
Everything was working fine earlier today, no problems at all... weirdest thing yet? I start up the game from there and I'm able to save and do everything as normal. I even changed a few things, saved, and turned the game off to see if it wouldn't acknowledge my save, but everything's just as I left it. This is really irritating though, and there must be SOMETHING it's whining about, so...someone help please?

The latest version is v36a. Im pretty sure that you decided to stop working on the M3 perfect as their most likely focusing on the localization of the M3 Sakura firmware.

With Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team on the M3 Lite, the game seems to run kind of slow. When you give or recieve damage to or from another Pokemon in one of the dungeons it pauses before displaying how much damage you took or inflicted. Also when you go to another floor it takes a abnormal amount of time before it says what floor you're on, I watched a gameplay video on youtube and it wasn't like this. Is there a particular way I need to patch the rom using the M3 Game Manager to make it work quicker or do I need a diiferent Micro SD (I use a Sandisk 1.0 GB) or even a patch I need from the internet?

Most likely its either the M3 that is too slow or the SD. If its the SD then you can improve the load time by using a faster micro. If its the M3 then your probably out of luck

Darn it, so unfortunate, and so weird too. The game's sequal Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness (or Time) runs perfectly. How is that possible?

I posted this already but the topic was locked... I really don't like this policie as posts in here have way less chances of being seen but w/e.Anyway I downloaded luminous arc 2 and tried it on M3 mini SD. First I got a white screen. I used arm7 fix (sim city (j)) and now it starts but I get the cannot load data error. I tried many configurations and no luck. Anyone knows how to solve this?

Well your probably out of luck, since the ARM7 fix was for that error and the M3 Perfect doesn't seem to be getting any firmware updates. The white screen happens for almost every flashcart on first run, try using a clean rom and see how that goes.

According to the M3 Wiki, Luminous Arc 2 IS playable. I looks like you have to just boot it twice, I guess.http://www.m3wiki.co..._roms/2951-3000

Why is that when I try to put .gif files on my M3, they wont view? I have them in the right folder (pictures) and all the other format pictures work (such as jpeg, png etc) but when I try to view .gif, it goes into this long "decode" phase and just shows a single frame with either a pink or green background? Also, what can I use to convert .avi files into M3 compatible extensions?Edit: Last question, for the Ebook feature, how do I get say, a regular Microsoft word file, viewable on my M3?

i don't think moonshell is able to display gif files or animated gif files. For converting you can use dpg tools which comes with the official moonshell setup file. or u can try other programs like batch dpg.eBook reads only .txt files i believe.

Ah. Why all of a sudden did my DS stop reading my flash cart? First, I had installed M3 Sakura firmware to see if it worked but it came out all gibberish so I put back the old firmware back on it and the DS stops reading/loading it.And I'm positive the microsd works because the reader still picks it up. Could it be the age since I had my flash cart for a year now?Edit: Nvm. Just found the prongs in the DS are broken. Not sure what cause that though.

I have a M3 Mini SD. How can I play Chrono Trigger without having problems with that anti-piracy crap?

use the anti piracy code, you may have to create ur on .cht file for the game manager to input the code.

well i haven't used my M3 perfect in a long time but try openning another cht file in notepad and change the codes so it has Chrono Trigger codes in the .cht file instead of the original game hat the cht file was intended for, then when you write the rom onto your SD add the cheat file with it on the M3 Game manager.Alternatively you can try this fix, or look for a homebrew that allows you to apply AR codes to the ROM its called Nitro Hax.

Umm, so what about Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story? How do you make it work on the M3 Lite? Is this the right place to ask or is this just about the hardware? I know you're suposed to ask these sorts of things in threads instead of posts soo...

"Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story (U)(Xenophobia)" is listed as only partially working on M3Wiki.

Yeah I saw that but I was hoping there was a patch that worked with the M3 that I just didn't know about like the one for the ackcard or whatever it's called. Oh well, that's unfortunate, I'll just have to look for another game to fill out the rest of the memeroy on my Micro SD card. Thanks Though!

It's too bad that the M3 Perfect is outdated now. If you like the M3 series overall, step up and try out the M3 DS Real. It can play virtually everything - and even has built in support for bypassing the anti-piracy measures, like with Echoes of Time and such. Plus if you get the full package, you can still play GBA games on it and do GBA-NDS linking.
