thanks, man, that guide is great. except that u need to work on yo anglais(english)........You only need a passcard 3. I don't know what a passkey 2 is, but all you need is a passcard 3.To play NDS, GBA, NES, SMS, Gamegear and gameboy roms you need to use the M3 Game Manager to properly format them. HERE is an okay guide on how to use the game manager. As far as playing SNES I don't know if the M3 is set up to do that out of the box or now, but I know there are SNES emulators you can download for free. i think one is called Snezzi or something like that. With the passcard 3 your don't need to flash your DS. Flashing is dangerous as it can fry your DS making it not work if you flash it wrong. The purpose of the passcard 3 is so you don't have to flash your DS. After the ROMs are converted using the M3 game software you just put them on your mini SD card along with the .dat files which are created during the conversion.ok, so im a complete n00b in olaying roms and stuff on the m3 perfect mini sd(dont have one yet). i need extra instructions on how i will start when i get it. first, do i need both the passcard 3 and passkey 2(what is the difference anyway between both of htem....)? i need to know exactly everything i need to play NDS, SNES, GBA and Application ROMs, music(MIDIs, too), ebooks and videos. And where can i get some good ebooks and music and videos on the internet for free? do i need to download emulators and load thm onto the m3 or do they have them built in? AND MOST IMPORTANT, I need step to step instructions on what to do when all my stuff arrives! STEP TO STEP, AND AS EXACT AS POSSIBLE!!!!! PLUS, recommend me a few ROMs.and how do i flash my ds with passcard3? and by step to step i mean after my DS is flashed. like uploading ROMs, and stuff...

should i get passkey 2 or passcard 3?A passkey2 does somelike like a Passcard 3 but you need a DS game connected to it and also to program it if your using the passkey2 function.Passcard 3 is a bypass like passkey 2 but it uses less battery power than the passkey 2@jambog If you still want to play GBC in colour there a program called Goomba which is a GBC emulator I've used an older version and its a bit laggy.

alright, thx! this js awesome! l think i got everything i neeed!Passcard 3, Here are my reasons why you should get the Passcard 3 Since the Passkey 2 is chunky which makes it impossible to lay the DS on a flat surface. You need to program the the passkey to a specific game card that you have. The passkey also gobbles up more power than the Passcard 3.

I doubt that a rom will ever be too big to fit on a sd/cf card because I know they have sizes from 256 mB to 16 GB. The average rom is 256 mbit or 512 mbit. The highest is 1024mbit.Quick question. I am looking into the M3 Perfect Mini-SD & Passcard 3 Bundle and I just wanna know one thing. Is it possible that in the future a rom will be too big to fit on it?? Sorry I am very new...

ok thanx. i got them in mp4 format. does the m3 read that? btw, i think im going to wait and buy a ds lite and get the m3 perfect lite, but im not that sure yet. are there any drawbax on it?You'll need to convert it to DPG or the M3 video format. If you want to download videos from Google video or youtube etc then go to www.keepvid.comThey might be in .flv format so you need to convert it to avi, before you can convert to DPG or M3 format

No. The largest NDS ROM is 1024Mbit, which is 128MB. So once you have a 256MB flash card, you will be able to fit every NDS ROM. Not all at once though, of course. ^^Quick question. They both function the same. The mini SD version has benefits over the lite. One is Mini SD cards are cheaper then the Micro SD cards that go in the lite. The mini SD version will also fit in the original NDS and Gameboy advance SP/Micro while the lite version will only work in the NDS lite as it won't fit in the other consoles slots. Of course now they recently released a lite adapter that allows the M3 lite to fit into the original NDS or GBA SP/Micro slots and the adapter is only about $4. Had they had the adapter when I bought my M3 I would have gotten the lite instead of the mini SD since the mini SD hangs out of the NDS lite. At the time the adapter didn't exist, so I wanted something to both work with my NDS lite and GBA micro. The only disadvatage that the mini SD has is it hangs out nearly half an inch from the DS lite as any GBA cartridge would. With the exception of the higher price of the micro SD cards, I would say the M3 lite is better now that you can buy an adapter for the GBA and orignal NDS for under $4.is the m3 perfect lite better than the m3 perfect mini SD?
