No, you're thinking of the fake Pokemon Diamond for GBC. It's a translated version of a japanese game called Telefang and was illegally sold as a Pokemon game, it's not a pokemon game at all nor is it sold by nintendo. One of the new, real Pokemon games coming out for DS is also called Pokemon Diamond, I have no idea why Nintendo chose to call it that because it's just going to cause a lot of confusion.is diamond the pokemon game where u get too phone up your pokemon???cus if it is i got it in spain when i was 10 lol

If there is no diffrence in gameplay I would choose a boy, cause I am a boy. Later I would try the girl.

If I get the chance, I'd try the game out with both. It isn't always fun to play the guy when you also have the option of playing as a girl.
