I have always chosen the girl, when it's possible. Never played using a boy. Never. Don't know the reason for that.

I like to choose being a guy, because I'm a guy. But in fighting games...I like using girls the most. They tend to be a lot more fluid in combat.

I am a boy in both real life and in pokemon. Of course, I still think they spent more time on the character designs for the female pokemon characters.
