If so, how?Oops, I just saw you reply, Mr. Pister. No the Ds browser won't work without a memory expansion, so I don't think it'll run...

Thanks, but I don't have a donor cart for it. Is the donor cart necessary to make it work, cause I can't get it to even start, save or no...search next time tuddy posted how here.http://www.dgemu.com...w...7290&st=105(You will a donor cart with a big save such as nintendo dogs)

you must splice the two files before you convert them to dpg, its very simple to insert text into a video, although it really depends on your available fonts. Can .srt files be used for movies on the MMD? If so, how?FYI: These are subtitle files for video files that are separate from the video file.

the saves from game faqs will only work for donor cart games if you have a Max Drive DS.Also, for games without donor carts, you'll need to download 'em from dualscene and replace the current save with the *.sav file from there. However, you may need to rename your rom and patch in this case.Yet another question. Is it possible to use save files downloaded from sites like Gamefaqs on the MMD? If so, how?

you can use .sav files but if the game requires a donor card you need to use a program to put it on the card, i used EEpinator and it works really well.Yet another question. Is it possible to use save files downloaded from sites like Gamefaqs on the MMD? If so, how?

...Did you read the directions at the start of this thread? >_>Next, do you have a CF card in your Max Media Dock? You DO know that they are useless until you put one in, right? Right? Here are the simplified directions:1. GET ROM2. CONVERT ROM (Use Max Overload)3. PUT ROM ON DS (On your Max Media Dock)4. PLAY ROM (through Max Overload on your DS)I find myself quite annoyed at the lack of attention paid to the start of this thread.... >_<YES THIS (Max Overload) LETS YOU PLAY ROMS ON YOUR DS. THAT IS ITS PURPOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!how do you play the new dragon ball z on for the nds use max media dock

actuall its not, this was made purely to play videos and homebrew, people hacked it to play ds roms, but lost interest, so technically it does not support roms it was hacked too, that is why its is difficult and hard to save and lots of games dont work.YES THIS LETS YOU PLAY ROMS ON YOUR DS. THAT IS ITS PURPOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried this with Pokemon Diamond, and it didn't work until I tried swapping carts BEFORE I boot Max Overload. Just thought I'd point that out...I downloaded, patched, and played Pokemon Diamond, Megaman ZX, and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Once I tried to boot max overload after downloading and patching Castlevania, it would stay on the "Building File List" (or something like that) page. The dotted lines going around the DS on the top screen would keep moving, but it would never display the ROMs. Can anyone help diagnose and fix this problem?Oh, and with some games, I'll accidentally choose the wrong options for patching (i.e. not disabling turbo load) and then delete the .PAT file and patch again. Could that be the cause of the problem?First boot up your MMD with the Max Media Player cartridge. Once Max Overload is booted remove the Max Media Player cartridge from the DS slot and place the Super Mario 64 DS cartridge in the slot. Now select the New Super Mario Bros. ROM from the list and load it. Now, all of your game play for the New SMB rom will be saved the the Super Mario DS cartridge.

Less than a minute. How long should patching the files with max overload take?

or, for a more "exact" estimate- my comp (with 512MB ram and a 1.6GHZ processor) takes around 1-2 seconds per game it patches.Less than a minute.

You'll need a "donor cart" of the same save type. Remove the slot 1 firmware bypass after you get to the root of the card on your DS, then insert another game card with that save type. Once this is complete, boot max overload, and run the game. It should now work.BTW, I have gotten BIA:DS and Pokemon Pearl to work with the NDS Web Browser Slot-1 card as a donor. CRA runs with that in, but it cannot save...hey theres a japanese version of zelda phantom hourglass. has anyone gotten this to work? it just goes to a white screen when i try it
