Although I havent played guitar hero (so my reply really is just a guess) I think my choice would be DDR because I know about the game and have it with the beat pad,but really I suck using the beat pad,so my choice is still DDR.

I would have to say GH because i love playing guitar and my sister dances and therefore snaps me on DDR.

Actually, I can't really compare these games since they're both very different. I enjoy DDR because it gets you to move your body into the rhythm of the music while Guitar Hero gets your fingers a dexterous feel for a guitar, although a real guitar is far more complicated. They're both really fun.

Not to be incredibly mean... okay yeah, to be incredibly mean. If you're playing DDR to lose weight, you should die, that's not why, and that has nothing to do with the game. Guitar Hero by faaaaaaaar. It's fun because of the sense of accomplishment when you get through a song, it's a hell of a lot more interactive in that when you mess up, the entire guitar line gets messed up, wehereas DDR, if you miss one it just keeps going. I like the music a lot better, but there are some okay songs on DDR, but GH pwnz all.

I love DDR, ive been playing it for over 4 years. I havent been playing it much though, im working on getting a metal pad, it hasnt been shipped to me yet. I played guitar hero 2 and got to hard mode in 5 days and then got bored of it. Guitar Hero is alright I guess but DDR is much better and it helps keep you in shape!

I enjoy both, but prefer Guitar Hero, because its easier to set up and takes up less space. Plus I get enough exercise anyway, I cant be bothered with being energetic to relax on ddr

Guitar hero is the best thing thats ever happened to me 
i once was borned but now i am strumming to the beat of guitar hero ;0 not to mention the xbox 360 version will have dl content (new songs) and already has ten new songs compared to the ps2 version.

GH is a lot better. Because I don't like pop but if you can just ignore the music and play, DDR's just as fun.

It not to tuffDDRbecause you can get more songsand if u get a usb dance mat then u can just play stepmania with feet and download songsguitar hero has limited songs...so its not to good.

This is a very important topic with me and my friends. Most of my friends love Guitar Hero, but I am a DDR lover. DDR is better because it's better for you. You can burn about 20 calories per song on heavy mode, and although it takes a while to get there, it's completely worth it because then you can be like those people you see at the mall who spend 4 hours DDRing. However, Guitar Hero is very easy to pick up on because it's so simple. But I don't see people breaking a sweat on Guitar Hero, or going for so long that finaly they just collapse, throw up, and pass out, because I've played them both, and I've only done that on DDR 
. So, DDR is the better game, because once you're good, it's all worth it.
