im pretty sure they had somewhat of a feature with older games, where a friend can do a battle with you?but personally, i dont want the ff battle system to be like another game, then eventually more things will follow, and ff will lose its own self image. of course thats a little over-reactive, but still. as for when the game comes out, its still tba here in north america, even though rumour has it, it will be out just before halloween, hopefully. japan im pretty sure was feb 14th, but that was pushed back a couple months, so april? who knows, they arent even releasing a single ounce of detail on neither ff12 or advent children.

Probably, the japanese always get cool versions with tons of extras. I wish they would release those versions for the US and Europe.I think Hinata Kirei meant some japanese version of the game.

I hope they have another mini game like blitzball, that was a lot of fun.I just hope they dont bring back the chocobo racing and the butterfly catcher. Those minigames sucked.

I think thats great that they are gonna make a 12... I was kinda dissapointed in 10-2 so hopefully 12 will be REALLY good.... i hate dissapointing games

well considering the main character vaan dreams of being an air pirate, i wouldnt be suprised if they have an airship! but ya, bringing back a mini game like blitzball would be sweet. i actually liked blitzball! but i dont think they'll put as much mini games as they did in x-2.

"Sky Pirate" pardon me, thats what vaan wants to be. but anyway, FFX did have a good storyline, just not the kind you like obviously. FFX was basically a love story, good news for you, i cant see FFXII being a love story. it may have a couple sappy moments here n there, but other than that, i think its goin toward more of the FFVI type, a kinda "love story" just off to the side, but mostly based on other things such as war and what not.i cant wait either!!i just hope it has a good strong storyline...and is nothing like X and X-2

I'm gonna do EXACTLY the same! ....And I love RPG's more! Ha!...I'd like to have a world map to return, i kinda miss itRegardless of what the game is going to be like, I'm going to buy it. Not only am I going to buy it, but when my local video game store has the availability, I'm putting it on pre-order. I'm gonna get the guide just to say I have it. My life will be Final Fantasy XII until I beat it, and like I said before, "If Final Fantasy X is any window" it should take me about 175 hours. What can I say, I love RPG's.
, and to have a ship for u to fly arround the world map like the good ol' days of FF.

feb 16th was the day that it was supposed to be released in japan, but that got pushed back considerably, and i dont know what the new date is for japan, as far as north america is concerned, who knows...Well is it not to be released in north america on February?

by the way this game is goin, and the complete lack of information being released on it, i wouldnt be suprised if it comes out even later than november. it'll be pretty damn lame if it takes till 2006 to finally be released here in NA.
