the battle system is changed big time, so it wont have thoes really cool attacks in battle

My friend who understands japanese had played it. He said the japanese version has a lot of exploitable bugs.maybe it took long for the american version 'cause of those bugs.

I played the demo that came in my dragon warrior viii booklet. Fighting is really dif. But the graphics rawk. We were dissapointed in the summons though =/.

I got the game last night at midnight and I must say it is really something else. I got the Collector's Edition and it has some of the coolest bonus matieral... The metal case is kinda heavy for a case but it looks great. The battle system is really confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you can really lay the smack down.the camera controlls make the action run really smoothly. This game is just beautiful. YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!!

The main difference is the battle system which is basically semi-real time instead of turn based like it used to be. There is no transition between battle and travel. I just bought the game and haven't had time to play it yet BUT i know from my research that this is probably the biggest difference outside the normal ones in this game. I am worried I won't like the game because of this change though.

To the people that started Final Fantasy 12 yesterday, or have played it already, what was your initial reaction to the License Board. Having taken apart, refilled, and maxed out the Sphere Grid in FFX, I was really psyched to see another large board to fill up =PThe game itself seems like itll be good, its crazy how much it lingers of vagrant story. Nothing wrong with that, it was my favorite

i havent played it yet? is it much like the sphere grid? Because i loved the sphere grid (even if i WAS the only one) i thought it was much more original than just getting stats at lvl up
