My first game that I beat without cheats is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. I wanted to cheat at first but the cheats froze my game so I didn't use any cheats after then finished the game.

pokemon emerald was the first game i beathen without cheatsthis is to give the bragging rights to the ones who dont use cheats for infinate money and others of the like, so post your bragging rights now, have fun gloating
i cheated on this oneI say Pokemon Leaf Green. I tried to cheat at first but they are not working so I finished the game myself.

pokemon fire redi had previously beaten regular pokemon red without cheats and seeing as the games are somewhat similar i managed to finish fire red

I think it was probably pokemon, the red version. 
I'm actually not much of a dedicated gamer though, so my list of completed games is actually extremely short... i could probably count all my finished video games on one hand, truth be told.

Mine would have to be.....Pokemon. I was to young to even think about cheats but once i got older i cheated on it =). Now i only use cheats for the second time through. I play the game through and beat it then play it again with cheats.

I think the first one I beat was Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. But come on, that's such an easy game! If it wasn't that one, then it was Golden Sun, or Minish Cap. :-)

first one i beated was pokemon ruby, but the first game i beated with skill was emerald. ruby beat time: 70 hours emerald beat time: 12 hours. and i could no way cheat as i do not have a cheat tool anyway and i played these on real life.

I think my first is pokemon fire-red. Since I played red version on my gameboy color before, I know all about the game. I beat the game pretty fast. Even though I finished the plot, I never got the chance to finish the Pokedex without a cheat.
When the going gets tough, the tough goes shopping...
