i would have to say spyro...it took me many many years to ever beat super mario brothers...so sad...

Mario Advance 1. One of the first games for the GBA and passed it pretty easily.

The first gba game i completed was golden sunafter that i completed pokemon rubylast the legend of zelda a link to the past might completed more not remembering though

If I remember correctly the first Gameboy Advance game I beat without cheats would probably had to have been either Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, or LoZ Minish Cap.

Despite Pokemon being the sole reason I still HAVE my GBA, I think Advance Wars was the first one I beat, followed up by some silly Rampage Puzzle game. Pokemon Sapphire came after that, followed by Advance Wars 2 and The Sims for GBA (forget the title specifically).

the first game i beat without cheats on game boy was pokemon emerald cause i find that you should only use cheats on after you beat cause then it gives meaning to the game when you're bored of it so it makes full use of you're game

I am certain it was Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2Although i did find a shorter route to it at 1st, but i also made it the 1st game i 100% beaten, all goals, and all dragon coins. although i disliked the "new" Dinosaur Land
