the legendary dogs and latios/latias. Those drove me crazy. I never got raikou without a gameshark.

Either Ho-oh or Latios/Latias.I mean; c'mon! How tall is that freaking tower of his?! Jesus Christ!And Latios and Latias are just... a pain in the butt to find. Though right after the T.V. Announcement; I went out and found Latios in Emerald. Sweet. :]

hardest to catch is mewno wait, maybe one of the legendary dogs. not suicune, cuz that's an easy catch. the other two.

The Legendary dog was the hardest for me...coz they ran away right after you saw them...you have to throw a pokeball on the first move or maybe use Haunter's skill(forgot the name of skill), that makes the opponent can't run away..

To me is Latios and Latias. They are hard to find and even if you found them, it is not easy to catch them.

latios and latias was made far to hard to catch. It took over 50 hours to catch latios

It has to be Latias and Latios, hands down. Just finding them is very problematic, what about catching them?

Mew (or the other, later ones with the same status) since it was impossible without having to do work in the real life (say, go to the conventions to trade for Mew).

I think mew is the hardest Pokemon to catch because you had to use a game shark or other gba hacking system. then you had to find the cheat on the internet.It took me for ever to find the cheat actually I never found it for Pokemon sapphireonly Pokemon emerald and I don't have Pokemon emerald my friend does.

Toughest Pokemon would have to be Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in G/S. They were very tough to corner even after encountering them once in the wild so they appear on the map. I had a Scyther with False Swipe just for them. If only I had a Pokemon that locked them from running. But, even then you might not catch them and knock them out. And its tough to save right before encountering them.

I think it was REGI brothers , regirock,regice, and regi steel , and the hard part is regi steel !

Latios was pretty easy to find..... i think the legendary dogs were so hard because you had to chase after them
