yeah latiass was the hardest, i had to keep lookin in my pokedex in order to trap it in an area, and i used like three golbats to catch it.

The three legendary dogs were definately the hardest to catch, could appear anywhere and always fled from me

I would say mew is the most difficult. the legendary dogs, you can either use sleep, or freeze on them, and then have a pokemon you know won't kill them (like a 40+ scyther with false swipe) hit them until they're low, then use as many pokeballs as you need, then if you run into them again, theyll still have 1 health left and be that much easier. but almost all the legendary/rare/powerful pokemon are difficult. otherwise, why wouldnt they be rare =) but theyre worth it!

Latios was pretty hard to catch because each time u fly to the area it is in its gone

Taurus from original Pokemon Blue because when you encountered it in safari zone it allways escaped before you could throw a pokeball.

The legendary dogs and Latios/Latias really pissed me off for quite a time.

Latios and latias since they could be anywhere, in any patch of grass, and if u didnt catch it when u found it, it would run to another location

lol man, the hardest ever pokemon for me to catch were the three legendary dogz...man they run around everywhere and its so hard to catch them...they flee from batle evey time...

The hardest to find is arguably feebas and its evolution is one of the most tedious lol, but getting a Milotic is rewarding. The hardest ones to catch were ofcourse the legendaries, and onix especially in the beginning of the game.

I've had trouble with Mewtwo in Soulsilver. I went through 60+ ultra balls in one sitting before I gave up. He was sitting at a sliver and his health paralyzed and asleep and still nothing.

Feebas was certainly, in my opinion, the hardest pokemon to find, therefore making it one of the hardest to catch, as you'd have to find it first. Of course, some of the legendary pokemon were extremely difficult to catch and also to find, so I guess a few of them would knock Feebas of the top spot.

I hate those that always run like Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Latios, Latias Mesprit, Cresselia and Tauros from the first generation. He was hard enough to find and then he flee and your time in the safari zone is over.
