Hardest pokemon to catch, militoc. Dont know if i spelled it right but, the thing was a son of a gun to obtain, max out beauty etc. I wanted to die when I needed it for ruby/sapphire to complete the.pokedex.Nowadays I can just trade it(joy )

I find most of the roaming legendaries very hard to catch. Other than that there are also Goudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza/Mewtwo and others, which are very tough to catch without a Master Ball.

for me the hardest pokemon to find and catch was Latias. i didn't have a master ball and the frist time i saw it i killed it... 
but in the end i did catch it! with a great ball....

The pokemon that require a special unlock code thing, like darkrai... Definitely a huge pain.

For me, it would have to be feebass. Mostly due to the fact I think there was only 1 square in the water you could find it in per day in rse or something like that, otherwise latios or latias because I already wasted my master ball on rayquaza in emerald, and they never seem to appear anywhere near me while I'm looking for them.

celebi is by far the hardest to catch, i always have a tough time finding it.Not in the forest??!!!

Tauros in red version was very hard to find in the safari zone. I had all the other pokemon except tauros.

Oh god, for me it was Victini in Pokemon Black. That annoying thing took me 2-3 tries, and likely over 30 different Pokeballs of all types to catch... I used up all my Pokeballs, Greatballs, and maybe even a Masterball or 2, and some other types of Pokeballs. In the end I caught it with a Timer ball since it had taken so long and so many attempts. What was seriously frustrating was it had only 1 HP left, it was asleep, and I still couldn't catch it! The heck?! Haha.

The hardest pokemon to find is Feebas because you can only get him if you fish for him at the right spot at the right time. The hardest to catch is Giratina because I have tried 4-5 times and failed everytime.

i'd say chansey or any other rare pokemon in the safari zone.. they're already rare enough as it is, but they're also really hard to catch, seeing as you only have bait and rocks to work with lol

Abra tough to catch early on, all it knows is teleport >.>Then would have to have been trying to catch Ho-oh on pokemon gold with ultra balls lol, took forever >.>

Snorlax is pretty hard to get as one of the normal pokemon. Mew was hard to get as one of the more advanced pokemon.

Old Games: Tauros, Kangaskhan and chansey New games: FeebasThe legendary dogs are easy after they appear the first time( Crystal, Silver, Gold)

the hardest pokemon for me to find/catch is a tight race between Rayquaza and Latias. i think latias wins because it jumped around so much and i didn't have a master ball.

Feebas is hard to find even though it is the ugliest pokemon
