Whats the whole point of playing a game if you have no idea what to do? Thats why its compulory for schools to teach you how to read. Also, it helps you with your English if you read because its like reading a book...except youre playing it. So I think everybody should read what the game characters say, it adds to their personality

I always read everything and talk to everyone in the town most of the time, usually at least one person has something special for you. Signs and tutorials I tend to skip over, unless I know nothing about the genre/game.

Of course I read it, how would I know the storyline or what to do next if I don't ?Some of my friends don't, though, and the next thing they do is asking me about what to do next, sheesh...

I read everything I come across, just to make sure I get the full story of the game. Maybe minor NPCs i'll skim if they are not involved in any side quests but yea I read everything.

I mostly play RPGs... so yeah, I do. If I die or something and have to work my way back to where I was, I don't read everything, or if I'm re-playing. Also, alot of PC cutscenes are *really* tedious, so yah, skip them too.

Depends on the particular game. I don't really read the Pokemon-related ones, since I know what is going to happen next (I played it in the past so I get what is going to be next). I do read the ones from FF and Fire Emblem but not diligently. I just scan them enough so I understand what is going on or needed to be known for the next event.
