..... ooookay. This is like asking which magic has the most usefulness of them all. the 1st would be white. Curaja and cura heals more than x-potion; coves all allies and range damage on undead; added healing if penelope or ashe uses it. Dispels are also widely used to get rid of protect, shell, bravery, faith, reflect on bosses or marks. Esuna loses it's usefulness in midgame when the enemy starts using slow or stop on you. Remedy and the three remedy lore license square is the best cure for those status ailments. Holy can be described in two words... HOLY S!%T, cause that's what enemies with weakness to holy will scream out and dishes out massive amounts of damage as flare.The 2nd would be green which also ties in with time because of two spells: haste and bravery. Watch your opponents life bar disappear in a flash when you use both this spells on your party. 3rd will be everyone's favorite black magic... which I wonder why. Unless you have opal ring (spells doesn't bounce on opponents with reflect) and a very good spell caster, elemental magick fairly damages your opponents which is hardly worth the MP your spending on them. Flare and scathe on the other hand is what you people want. Non elemental and sure to do a sizable amount of damage... just take in mind on your MP. Although, I don't get why this is everyone's favorite magic. There are weapons which have elemental attachment to them which can hit that enemies weak element. Also, there are a lot of opponents which has a weakness to earth, water and wind than any other elements (not counting holy) which you will hardly be able to learn at midgame (even with a good caster, aero on enemies with weakness to wind will give a really pea size amount of damage). However, that's why this is still my 3rd rank is because of flying enemies. Characters with no range weapon can attack flying enemies with the black magick of their choice.4th is arcane magick. Bubble is the spell for you in this category... however, it's very dangerous to cast it on your party members. If the spell wore off and your party members are at 10% HP... expect trouble. That's why bubble belt or equip: bubble is your best choice to double your HP. The rest aren't much use except for syphon which could grant you more MP heal than charge (and less risk in lowering your MP), but it hardly works especially on boss or mark battles. 5th would be... oh was that all? Well never mind. But I would like to add in technickes. Many of them are very very.... useless except for steal, poach, charge and (tan tan tan taaaaaan~) libra.
