When lockhart used Rons broken wand, the memory charm didn't work properly. The wand messed up the spell, making it fire backwards, like Rons slug curse, and the spell effect was worse. Lockhart lost his entire memory permanantly. (well, not permanently, you know what i mean.)

This may be a trick question. Harry first saw Hagrid nearly 11 years before he even knew that Hogwarts existed. However if you're asking when he first saw Hagrid after arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, then it was almost immediately after he got off the train. In fact, if I remember correctly, shortly after they got off the train, Hagrid was shouting his name.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. Harry is there when that happens. After he arrives at Hogwarts, what is discussed the first time that he isn't in earshot of the action?Extra Hint: It happens before Ms. Norris is petrified, but after Harry knows that she exists.

Well, this has taken long. If I am not mistaken, is when Hermione runs to "stop" Snape from Hexing Harry during the Quidditch match, at the first year.

As Dobby's magic blocked the train plataform, Harry and Ron took the car and crashed it into the Whomping Willow. That's as indirect as you can get.

I'm assuming the Whomping Willow had several of its branches broken or hurt. The day after Harry and Ron crashed into it, Professor Sprout had put some of the trees branches in slings.

Pigwidgeon came as a gift from Sirius Black to replace Ron's rat Scabbers. Scabbers was actually Peter Pettigrew in his Animagus form. He escaped into the Forbidden Forest and eventually returned to Lord Voldemort after Professor Lupin transformed into a werewolf.

Sirius gave pigwideon to Ron, in the letter he wrote to Harry, in Prisoner Of Azkaban, he wrote sumthing like "I thought your friend Ron would like to keep this owl, as it is my fault he no longer has a rat"......
