I consider a game good when it has good graphics and concept of the gameplay...Since GBA is more advanced than the usual 2d platform in GBC, I'd say GBA games are usually better....I'm not saying all GBA are good even if they have 3D....

i preffer the gba, just cause everything before that really didnt have the kind of graphics that would appeal to me.

i only bought pokemon yellow, blue, red, gold and crystal to the GBC then GBA came out and i was like wow and went to the closest store snatching a GBA while laughing evily....ok i was just kidding...but GBA for the win!

ever notice how when you "upgrade" your game boy you wonder how did you survive without that "upgrade". Like gameboy to gameboy pocket to game boy color to game boy advance. I never got a game boy sp because i got a ds instead. 
But game boy color was a bigger leap to me from pocket.

well i gotta say i loved GBC's 1st ever mario game BUT i like pokemon even more and ruby saphire and emerald were pretty cool so i'd pick GBA.

I certainly like GBA... I love zelda series in gbc but there are also games in GBC that can be played to GBA and vice versa.

agreed crystal is better than fire red and leaf greenOfcourse the GBA has better games and graphics compared to GBCas a system but some games aree better in the GBC than the GBA, I liked Crystal more than Fire Red, cause the game was much better.

GBA wins by a landslide, not only by the enhanced graphics, but the capabilities for deeper gameplay, like deeper colors, more great games, etc.

GBC was basically just a hyped up GameBoy with a color pallette, the only differences were in the actual game cartridges and how the games were read, and there was hardly any upgrade (besides the crappy NOT BACKor FRONT lit screen). GBA actually upgraded, and in later versions (GBA SP) actually made the screen backlit... wow, what a genius idea right? I mean.. the GAME GEAR, the FREAKING GAME GEAR had a backlit screen. Sure it suffered from short battery life, but I know that 1/2 the time, you couldnt play your GBC without a light right on top of you anyways, i would have put up with the hassle. Even with the original Game Boy Phat, I needed a freaking LIGHT BOY to see the screen in any kind of poor lighting! So yeah, GBA SP, much better than GBC in almost every way imaginable!
