A few have...Phantom Brave when the little girl who is really sick tells your main character who can see ghosts and is hated for it, that she is her best friend and only friend, that always makes me cryFire Emblem Path Of Raidence, when Greil dies...and Mother 3 a lot of times.

I almost bursted into tears when I was playing Starwing and one of my wingmen, Falco Lombardi was shot down because there was too much going on in the screen and I couldn't give cover fire to him because I forced myself to think that he can manage. Dang I hated myself for not rescuing my best friend, although he didn't like it when I shot bogeys from his six o'clock. I managed to beat Andross, for Falco's sake. R.I.P Falco Lombardi.

i laughed when Aeris was killed in Finaly fantasy due to the fact of the lack of blood, the only time i have have even been near crying was playing Mario Strikers online and having lost a lead of 8-2 due to fricking MegaStrikes

Ive never cried because of a game because after all... its a game. However there are a few that have moved me.

Well, click throughs shouldn't count but there are two at least.Kanon SE (PC) - About every story you play through in Kanon is sad. That game eat people alive which is why the anime eats people alive.Galaxy Angel II ZRnT (PS2) - The stretches of Chapter 8-9 in Nano-Nano's story. Because of what happens, it was pretty darn sad. And even the reunion, which should have been happy, was still sad. Then of course there are games that make you cry because of how bad they are. Or at least you're crying on the inside.

I once bought Kirby's avalanche for snes when i was very little... thinking that it was going to be a typical kirby game. Turns out it was a damn puzzle game... my young self did not like this.

Never have I cried a s a result of a game. This isn't to say I don't find the medium to be equally as moving as more conventional story telling media, i.e. film and literature. I haven't ever cried at these either. However, I must say I was just as deeply moved by Ico and Shadow of the Colossus as I was by Schindler's List. I think the potential is definitely there.
