Real Time Action RPG's are definately my favorite. Though some do it pretty badly, so I'm usually pretty careful around those.

i did it according to his definitionReal Time Strategy (You take turns depending on your character's speed.Fastest goes first. Example: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance)i thought it was wrong tho

That's not the definition of a RTS... A RTS is like Warcraft III. Real time, where you move units in a strategical way. FFTA is more likened to CTB (Conditional Turn-Based).Also, to be honest, I don't mind CTB, but I also support ATB.i did it according to his definitionReal Time Strategy (You take turns depending on your character's speed.Fastest goes first. turn based is the way to go. im used to it cuz of ff7 and tactics. those games will never die

It's so wrong to make me choose! D: I love RTS games, but I also love turn based and ATB... It really depends on how they are implimented, not one being better then the other. : D

you my friend know what you are talking aboutMine would be Real Time Action RPG + Turn Based Action RPG. Both together at once. At a field, I'll be able to move my characters around. Whenever I meet foes, I must set my characters to attack the foe and I must wait for the bar to fill up before attacking. Additional status will either aid my characters or the other way round. Yup, the only RPG I know with this battle system would be FF XII though it's frm PS2.

Final Fantasy tactics style!Also, To the OP: Pokémon is also like the FFT style as whoever goes first or goes twice in a row is based on speed and the skills previously used(Quick attack and the likeness), so it should not be grouped with outright turn based RPG's.

I dont know remember what it was called but final fantasy's X battle system was pretty cool i think you were able to sub in any charcter at any time

I like action RPG's cuz other RPG battle systems tend to get repetitive (but that doesnt mean I hate the other battle systems).Real-time turn-based RPG's come second in my list cuz they encourage quick thinking and fast fingers.

turn based requires a lot of strategy and timing sometimes. RTS requires the most so i love it a lot

depends really usually i'd say turn based but sometimes it's betta t have time based
