Brainaid! (and I don't like him one bit!) My first time I was killed like about 10 seconds after he got detached from the floor and statred zapping my soul. I swear I was fighting him for half an hour but the most degrading part is that sometimes I still get killed by him! 
PS: to beat dark Link simply stab him by holding the control stick up + L targeting + pressing B.

The lava crab-like boss in Wind Waker, the first official boss you come across, what pretty tough for me! I died my first time facing him! All the bosses in Zelda 2 were pretty tough too.

The hardest boss for me my first time playing any zelda game would probably be Kotake and Koume (ocarina of time - N64), that make up the twinrova. the only reason....i didn't realize you were supposed to charge up the blast that were shot at you. I thought the beeping noise was a warning to not get hit like that again...haha, lame i knowother then that i would say a handheld games boss just because buttons are hard to push and not a lot of roomtwilight princess is pretty awesome, but personally i don't think it's as good as Ocarina of Time (best game ever)it does have a pretty tight battle cave where you just fight and fight!!!!

Shadow link was pretty hard but I have to say that Vaati was pretty difficult to beat in the minish cap.

I love the Zelda games. I'd say that none of the bosses are hard really, nor the puzzles, its more a time consuming thing really.

Vaati in minish cap, the stone temple boss in MM, dark link in OOt and majora in MM. they gave me the most trouble (i still havent defeated Vaati)

in the windwaker (the only one i have played), the puppet before ganondorf was hard because you hadone chance to nail it with an arrow

I'm not sure really, you had a good point that it's the puzzles that are harder than the bosses. I can say for certainty that Twinrova was the most annoying though from OoT

For me, the hardest boss I would have to say is the giant fish in Major's Mask because some of its attacks just seemed impossible to avoid.

shadow link was really easy... he cant attack unless you attack him with your sword... use the goron hammer, it makes it easier than morpha. the only thing that annoyed me was the three moving blades before morpha

i agree with you POINTS were deducted for this post by Excelsior.Please have a look at the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.Ya the bosses were nothing much the puzzles were the troublesome part

I would say the flying dragon in the sky temple in the game, twilith princess cause you have to jump everywhere and i didnt even know you had to use your boots in the first place...
but in OOT its defenetly dark link... man he was tuff....

I would have to say Bongo Bongo from Oot. He was a pain in the butt to beat.

The hardest boss for me was the third form of Puppet Ganon (the Moldorm one) in Wind Waker. He moves so quickly, it is very hard for me to hit. It took me about half an hour to beat him my first time. And why does everybody think Dark Link in OoT is hard? I have never had difficulty beating him.

i dont think there are any hard zelda bosses...they all have been simple for me...well...it was herd figuringout wind wakers final boss's weakness... ...but yeah... ...
