I got the ps3 and it is not a wast of money because you can install yellow dog 5 linux onto the ps3 and there is alot of cool games coming out for the ps3 like gta 4

i dont think it is a wast of money. you can get one for about £400 which is not bad fo what you are getting in return.MotorStormGTA 4 (ok this is on xbox aswell)Final Fantasy 13MGS 4Tekkenand all the other PS1 and PS2 games (i am talking about God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Final Fantasy, GTA, MGS, Gran Turismo, Dark Cloud, Devil May Cry, Ridge Racer)try and name that many game for XboxAsrarQ

360's been out for a year so yeah. PS3..couple of months. but the amount of games doesnt determine how good a console is. as of now i think its definately a waste of money on both parts arent you suppose to wait like a few months before getting it so the can work out the glitches and make some wothr while games. plus save you the frustration of the chance of gettign shot whilest waiting in line to get a ps3?

lol totally agree with you there buddy... i think its a total waste of money unless u have it of course... but sony are jus gettin all the games that the 360 had such as Saints Row(i heard)...Assains Creed...Call of Duty 3...Tom Clancys Rainbow 6 vegas...tony Hawks project 8(not that good anyway)...Fight Night Round 3...F.E.A.R...Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent...the list is endless. however you might be sayin that sony could have asked the game devolopers to make the game for PS3 then microsoft asked after or some other excuse which i dont really care about... The price of a PS3 COULD be lowered, but it is worth it.I am a huge nintendo fan-boy but sony is doing really good. NEVER undestimate sony.Though alot of the fanboys are fags(fag as in pricks and NOT gay guy type of fag)I recall a muggging while waiting in line for a ps3 in the news.A idiot couldent afford it once we saw the price while waiting in line so he mugged somone else.What a bad way to show an example to the little childrens waiting to get a ps3 =/

I think that the Sony PS3 has got good potential. With big hitting titles such as MGS4, DMC4, FFXIII, & GT5, the PS3 will take off this holiday season.And if you support Xbox 360, you shouldn't be saying Gears of War, you should be saying Halo 3 and the multiplayer beta. That is going to be off the hook. That is probably the only reason why people are purchasing Crackdown, but I digress.Sony could win, but it will be narrow if they don't drop the price.

The PS3 isn't a complete waste of money, but right now it just isn't really worth the cost simply because there aren't many titles out.For me personally, it would be a waste of money because there are only 5 or so games I'm looking forward to.Overall though, it is worth the money if one is buying it for the blu-ray or as a multimedia device, but as a strictly gaming console, it currently is not worth it.

considering a blu ray dvd player will cost about 1kand ps3 has one built in for £425 is a big savingand an xbox u can buy a blu ray extension unit which will bring total to £410so in MY opinion i think its worth, but den again tahts just my opinion evryone has thier own i guess( btw theres always the reason of METAL GEAR SOLID 4 MWAHAHAH KIKASS)

PS3 is a waste of money, its a beast and i would buy a Wii rather than a PS3 its cheaper only 500 but the PS3 has many advatages and also has great games comming i wouldn't buy it if i had the money as it would take to long to buy

i dont think its a waste of money. all you people that say wii has better games than ps3 your retarded. tell me any game for the wii and i will give you a better version of that game thats on the ps3. in my opinion the only game that sets the wii apart is wii sports and that game isnt that "omg. I need it now".
