It's definitely no waste of money I have it for two months and I'm absolutely satisfied with it.600$ was too much for me too but I bought it on 24 checks so it's only 27$ a month and that's no problem for me.

The PS3 simply was just rushed out too soon. They are losing many of their liscence to games because there are not enough in production. If there are not enough PS3 owners, then there will be no strive to make games if they are not going to sell. Thus, hardley any games are out. Not to mention that you can listen to music while playing on an X-box 360 =)

If you remember the ps2 wasn't much cheaper when it came out (almost nobody thought it was too expensive) and you didn't get anything revolutionary for the money like in the ps3.2 b honest i think the PS3 is overrated and cost wayyyy 2 much moeny...

not a waste of moneyyou get what you pay forps3 has expensive technology that wil only go down in price in time.you cant compare ps3 to Wii because they are different gaming concepts. Wii is designed for super interactive GROUP play whereas ps3 is designed for very long and engaging role playing games

PS3 > Wii. One Wii has 2-3 good games. Gay donkey graphics. and wait a few years before you buy it so there won't be any defects and more titles.

Me and my brother had an agreement. He will buy a PS3 if i bought a wii. We both did it and hes on my wii more then im on his PS3. I do like the PS3, the little bits they put on it like WIFI, HDD and the fact its in HD is all good, and come to think of it its well worth £425 (im english) And it has so much more potential then its currently showing, so just give it time

The PS3 hasn't even been out a year yet, there are more price cuts to come and if you really can afford it, you'll get it. I know I could, so I did. I love it so far and the games are starting to come out for it. Plus it's a much more reliable piece of hardware.

Ya you cant honestly say that you would ditch the PS3 because it doesnt have 1 game. Also Wii has way more problems and issues involving all its controllers, sensors etc. breaking or being bad quality. And PS3 is much better than Wii, the only feature Wii has on top of PS3 is that it is more interactable.... but that limits the number of excellent and classic games availible for the console.

The reason Wii is pulling ahead so much is because they just said screw it to the graphics, and just tried to make the game fun like the old ones were, where the new Xbox/ps3 games seem to focus on graphics so much more then the gameplay, I mean Assassins Creed looks phenomenal, but it's one of the worst games I've ever playedYa you cant honestly say that you would ditch the PS3 because it doesnt have 1 game. it is worth buying a ps3. My brother got a wii and they are incomparable. The wii is only good if you are holding a party. Otherwise it is boring. The ps3 has brilliant graphics, seamless gameplay, blu ray, internet browsing, brilliant up and coming games etc
