You really need an HDTV to really see the big leap in graphics. when i play my 360 and ps3 games on my standard TV they look like an Xbox 1 graphics but with more stuff hapenning on screen. No Wii game will ever look better than anything on 360/PS3 period. Its not posible.

I cannot understand about the processesors and stuff about video games, so, I can't compare their capacitys.I wanna know if the difference between PS3 and 360 is that great, as the legends tells...I've seen some previews from 360 games and I found the graphics really great, likely of the PS3 games, but I know I can be wrong about that.

The PS3 has better specs and it's games should have better 'graphics' if they are made well for the PS3. Look at FF13 for instance.

I totally agree with Rufus66..since now still early stage...Sony or game developer still have a lot of space and time to improve or make use of ps3 spec..We should wait and see...

the console have the capablity of present graphic more than what the games on the market is doing. so the potential is something to look forward to...

yea its kind of dissapointing. i remember back in e3 2005, the ps3 was bad donkey and the 360 was ****. but now, all games are either worse looking, or on par with 360 games

sony have waisted their time with this, they've gone down the xbox root and we all know what happend. fact is the ps3 is too expensive for a console, ok it's a cheaper blueray drive but how many bluray discs does everyone have? sony didn't have anything original to pull out of the hat, the wireless controller that can sense movement is a quick rip from the wii, the online gaming has been improved and ben said to be similar to microsofts online gaming experience. and not every one has an HDTV, so even though it has far superior graphics to the other 2 consoles, whats the point if can't tell the difference on an ordinary TV. i don't hate the ps3, i just don't like the price i have to pay for what i'm getting, when i could buy the other 2 consoles and still have money spare

I think you're talking a bit too fast since they're not that many games out yet. You should wait after more games come out and then should you juge the PS3 because it IS the most powerful consol out there. Wait till games like ''Infraworld, Killzone, Heavenly Sword and The Getaway come out. I think we will think differently after playing those much anticipated games.T-Y

probably, but i still think it's still too much to pay for what it is and for offering nothing original. Sony have just copied everything that the other 2 consoles have brought out and tried to glue them together in one console, you can see that with the wireless remote, i don't quite get how your going to be able to control your charecters movements by waiving around a ps2 controller, since it still has both the joy pads. And like i said, your not going to even see the ps3s full potential on a normal tv, and since not alot of people have HDTVs it might even be a waist of time(?)

^ That's why I'm currently leaning toward an X360, the only reason I want to get a PS3 is so I can play my huge donkey collection of PS2 games on it, but I'll still have my ps2.

Have u even tried playing PS3 games at 1080PSome games play okay but other games suffer from frame rate issues like marvel :ultimate alliance. And also at high resolution u'll really notice the dullness of the textures

the ps3 isnt for the graphics its more for the potential of the games atm game makers are using about 5gigs of space and a double layered blue ray disk can hold 50 gigs

its interesting reading other people's posts.....i say the xbox 360 is a lot better than the ps3 right now in graphics (i say this even though i hate xbox) cause if you take a look at gears of war on the xbox and then look at a fps on the ps3 like resistance, gears of war beats it by a long shot. i agree with the others who have said it, after maybe a year, the ps3 is going to be A LOT better. the launch games for the ps3 are not showing the real potential of the system, so we gotta wait until better games come out
