Well to be honest the PS3 graphics are impressive but not like what some of the Sony fanboys are saying it. It's really about on par with X360. I should know I have both. I also must say it depends on how much the game develkopers make use of the hardware. That said the PS3's performance so far does confirm that it has bottleneck problem despite it's powerful Cell processor. Spec-wise the X360 seems to have a btter performing GPU as well. VF5 and Gundam Musou on PS3 (the two games I have on mine) looks great but somehow I feel like it's only because of the HDTV I have and the PS3's HD function. Then again the X360 has at least a year ahead in game development on a similar performance console.

of course the graphics are not using 100% of the console power this is the FIRST generation of games on the PS3, do you remember the First generation on Xbox 360???? it looks like the PS2. so we have to give it time to improveYeah, basically... The graphics on the playstation 3.... to me, and i've only seen one or two movies and a load of stills... the difference is that PS3 dont get burned runnig that kind of graphics....and the new ps3 games will ¡have better graphics...each time... just like ps2 games evolution....i cant see the defrens about PS3 and Xbox360

Yes, ussually the metal gear games give us the average of graphics in a console, like MGS in psx and MGS 2 y 3 in the ps2i'm just wainting for games like killzone 2, MGS4, FFXIII to judge cuz we're only going to see the real potencial of the PS3 when those games came out.

the ps3 hasnt showen much now of its potential but neither has the wii. we just need to give them both time and you will be surprised by what they can produce

It is clear that this person hasnt seen lair, killzone 2, ff13, mgs4, gt5 and heavenly sword. Or maybe even motorstorm.Also officially from yesterday i have spent 1 year on these forums.

heres what you need to do, 1 use the PS3 on a hd tv using the hdmi cable for starters. then play a game that is offered on all the systems like madden. Then you will see how much better the graphics are. Also the system is fairly new, It take all companies about a year to reach any sort of potential. you can start to see the games are getting better.
