X.P share is nice when leveling weak pokemon. Leftovers is all around good. Move type enhancers are cool but rarely that useful in my opinion. Later in the game money isn't so important but at the beginning a little extra cast does go a long way (Gold coin or something) I hate replacing berries. I can't remember any other great item uses.

Exp share or everstone, they both are amazingly helpful

my favorite item for a pokemon to hold would be focus band/sash and heres whyhttp://www.kidzworld...-hints-and-tipsthe FEAR rattata is lvl 1 (from the poke relationship people of course) when fusing a raticate, and a ditto/rattata with endauvor and quick attackthe lvl 1 rattata inherits these two abilities endauvor reduces makes the hp of your enemy the same as yoursquick attack always makes you attack firstfocus band lets you live at 1 hp so lets set this into scenarioYou find a lvl 100 Mewtwoyou sent out ur lvl 1 RattataMewtwo uses, psychic (naturally since any one above lvl 5 should have a higher speed and thus should attack first)Rattata lives with 1 hp thanks to focus bandrattata casts endauvor dropping the lvl 100 mewtwo to 1 hprattata then casts quick attack which gaurtentees he attacks first next roundThe gaming system prevents you from doing 0 dmg no matter what if it has an effect on themMewtwo faintsRattata lives with 1 hpSo therefore i choose focus band/shash

Well I haven't been battling competitively for about 2 and a half weeks now, (I was getting too good. Everyone on Shoddy was losing >.>) but I do remember Life Orb being my favorite item. 30% Bonus on any hit, at the cost of 10% is amazing. Over are the days where we had to Band to get attack, and it even paved the road for mixed attackers like Infernape.

I love EXP Share. It allows you to train weaker Pokemon without switching party members during a battle.

Well... I'm sure everyone used EXP. Share more than anything else in this game, but I'd have to say my favorite held item is probably leftovers.GPs were deducted for this post, please read the rules! - GBATESTCopied post from:http://www.dgemu.com...amp;pid=1845579

EXP Share and Quick Claw. Because leveling a newly caught weak Pokémon can be a hassle. And quick claw because... I love attacking first.

Leftovers becomes less helpful during later battles where opponents can take huge chunks out of your HP in one hit if you're unlucky, but it does come in handy in instances where you're exploring a cave or something and battling trainers without rest. I also like the Lum berry, though its a pity berries are only single-use...

Exp share is a really good and useful item to raise weaker Pokemon but the best would be the sitrus berry it can really change a battle! XD

I like leftovers, Life Orb, or the choice items. Mainly because I commonly use them in competitive battling.

The lucky egg makes the game so fun when you trade it over to a new playthrough!

Oh my favorite hold items are experience share, for pokemon that you know can't fight back just yet, like magikarp. My second favorite hold item is the everstone, if you have one pokemon you don't want them to evolve at all. I have done that with a Vulpix before, then realized i kinda needed her to evolve.

In-game, Lucky Egg.Competitively, Leftovers. I don't slap one on each of my Pokémon, though. That would be it, really.

I'm interested in the new Evolution Stone (Eviolite?) or whatever it is -- the item that boosts defensive stats if the Pokemon isn't fully evolved. It's very unique and gives the metagame a new spin -- we now see defensive walls coming from Porygon2 and Dusclops, which is neat.

Sounds interesting. I haven't fully given the new games a full spin, so I'm not up-to-date with the items and such (even though there are places online where I could learn about them).I should stop idling by and give the games a bit more attention than I currently am...

Leftovers is definitely my favorite. I tend to trade from many games so all my pokemon can hold one and gain back health when needed.

i would go with Sharp Beak for Blaziken, mostly because he is Triple type (Fire, Fighting, Flying) the item itself would only increase flying attacks like aerial ace by 10% aka 60 → 66
