Do you think that Resident Evil is running out of ideas?I last played Outbreak and it is great!But some of the scenarios are just getting to boring.Any ideas for a new game?I think there should be one where you play as an evil virus emmitting worm, in which you bite people and turn them into zombies and mutants etc.

playing as a worm... well that would definitely be an <sarcasm>original</sarcasm> idea. *cough*earthworm jim*cough* Sorry I had to say that... Well Resident Evil 5 is going to be coming out....uhh whenever it comes out and Capcom was bound to put something new in there. Maybe an extra mode where you get to play as the zombies... although I don't think walking slowly and moaning is my idea of fun.

Well... i think they have. They should just lay the series down and let it sleep... not create a mainstream piece of crap like RE4 when all they did was throw the name RE onto it... RE is about zombies and bio-hazards not crazy spaniards in a village

Yeah I agree but I still think playing as a zombie would be cool (Perhaps they could put a cheat in to let you walk or run normally instead of moaning and limping)

I still finding it funny that Devil May Cry 1 was supposed to be Resident Evil 4, until they realized how blatantly overpowered Dante was, if they would've went with the plan as originally thought of, It'd be Dante all the fangirls swoon over instead of Leon.

Well a lot of Resi fans didn't like RE4 because of the plot and style of play, they said it was unrelated to the series and it's survival action now rather than survival horror.Now from my point of view, <boast> I have 11 of the games and I love each and everyone of them </boast>, I think they did a very daring move when changing the centre of the plot in RE4 but I can understand why. With 6 of the games set in the Raccoon City area, I can see why they changed it and I approve of it.Now the Resi I'm looking forward to is the Wii's Umbrella Chronicles which is set across Resi 1 - 4, it's going to help dig out more info into Umbrellas past and connect Resi 4 with the rest of the series. So in answer to your question, anything12346789, get Resi 4 then get Umbrella Chronicles, and then get Resi 5.I'm seem to have ranted long enough, any other questions related to Resi? I got a ton of answers for just about anything you want to know.

i still remember when i first played Resident Evil. gave me nightmares for almost two months, Resident Evil 4 hardly even phased me when i got my copy though, talk about de-sensering..

Well the director said in an interview that the movie isn't based on the games (uh huh sure buddy) he said that they are based on original scripts. I think what he meant was... the story isn't going to be based on the games in any DIRECT way, but the characters are definitely based on the game characters. Well I found out that the plot is something like....Survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice (Jovovich) joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp. Well Very interesting.... But enougth about the movie we are talking about the games. As I said earlier about the playing as a zombie I have found a game that let's you play as a zombie. Stubbs the Zombie. Yes I know it's old but at least one game let's you play as the bad guy!

Well I'm not going to go out on another limb and start talking about Stubbs The Zombie (more like an entirely different tree) If they made a game where you get to be the zombies in the Resident Evil world, that would really suck. Unless of course you got to play as the bosses... like be the Mayor from RE4, I would enjoy that a bit. Normal zombies are way too slow. Maybe another story path on RE4, where the virus inside Leon gets released and he turns into a "zombie" (don't know the correct term for those mutants) Then Capcom can come up with their own 'new' moves and 'new' style of play.

Yeah that is true and the bosses would be better to play as like Nemesis from RE3. But Capcom will do what they want and if 1 person buys the game BANG they'll make another. They'll probably never stop until the artists die, the game developers quit and everyone else surrenders.

RESIDENT EVIL 4, one of my favorite games on Playstation2, its really cool and the story is great!! Ive got the Resident evil 4 - special edition and a chainsaw-controller. Really cool. resident evil is a big game which is a top game as well and i think that theyr waitin to ps3 to come out to put new ideas obviusly just to capture you with the fact that ps3 is a better console and ps3 games are the innovative game youll ever find
