That PS3 is not selling like it should because it's too damn expensive. Then all the games are like 69 bucks a piece. Most people would rather keep their PS2 than buy a PS3 so i doubt they'll stop making PS2 games because unless they make the PS3 and its games cheaper, sony will be out of a lot of money if they do

Eventually, they will. They did make PS1 games for a long time, but it eventually came to an end. At some point, PS2 games are also going to come to an end.

yes of course. just like any other games. when new consoles come out PS2 games are gonna be abannded just like all the old consoles such as N64.

They won't stop making PS2 games until people start buying them. Once the prices go down, and people start buying the PS3 and games they may finally stop making them. but that probably won't be for a while so...

In an E3 interview this year a guy from Sony said that at least 150 more PS2 games would release.

i dont think they r gonna stop until the PS4 comes out cuz alot of people still have a PS2Do you think that they will stop making PS2 games since the release of the PS3? I think they will because they stopped with the PS1 games. I just wonder?

well, for starters the ps3 just got released...and with its price not all can afford to buy it...so i think the game developers will still continue to develop games for the ps2, and besides, there a lot good games for the ps2!

Not for a while. Most of the consumer culture doesn't have a PS3 yet, so until they become widely mainstream, there's a good chance PS2 games will still be out for a few more years.

My thought on this is yes they will be end the spree of games on the ps2 by 2010 basically cause there are stll buyers purchasing the Sony PS2 dont no why but there still are but its a good investment on sony since there is still so many buyers if i recall they sold 1,000,000 ps2's worldwide not much but still this consule has been around since the 90's- .Duece

I think they will because if they don't they would actually lose money because some people prefer the PS2 than the PS3 because its cheaper.

They won't stop making them so soon. One's the PS3 is more affordable and when more people have it, they will definitely stop. Hopefully that will take a while though.
