They won't stop making PS2 games for a long time.

Until they come out with a game that will get every one interested and thinking that PS3 is a better choice than PS2, they will continue to make PS2 games just like they are now. If I was worng, they would have made God of War II for the PS3.

uh yeah of course they did it with the ps1, gb, gb color, gamecube, and xbox (well for the most part). You'll probably see a few games for it but yeah ps2 is pretty much done for

I think we are all just waiting for the announcer guy from Mortal Kombat to yell you "Finish Him!" to PS3.

Sooner or later yes but right now no. The PS3 is still not doing as well as it should so the psp games and Ps2 games are kinda making up for that

After the PS3 becomes more popular, (price down, more sales, majority possession) yes, they will stop making new PS2 games. If they did that now, Sony would lose a lot of money, since not a lot of people own a PS3. Maybe in another year or two to come.

You know when the PS2 first came out the engine was so powerful(for the time) that out the US government was afraid that people would be able to make bombs out of them. I think it would take over 200 systems to make one bomb of any note.

no, i don't think they will stop making ps2's, i still have a ps2 and i still play it quite often, i like playing buzz
