I'm going with EV-9D9, a "female" droid who enjoyed torturing other droids. She was an EV-series supervisor droid who built modifications into herself so she could enjoy the pain she was inflicting on other droids more. Originally, she worked in Cloud City but was forced to leave when her crimes of destroying and torturing droids was uncovered. Eventually a droid (41) from Cloud City tracked her down and took off her arms and legs, leaving her to be killed by the droids she tortured and mutated.

Yes, but I believe he specifically needed that they lost those hands to lightsabers. Also, asteroid fields, generally aren't near as difficult to navigate as they want you to believe in the movies.
