Yeah... the good ol' days... I used towhen i was around the age of 6-7, i loved pokemon...at that time, the graphics of pokemon were like the red and blue version, single coloured, quite cute and funny...
pokemon when I was that age too and begged my parents for hours on end to go watch the first ever movie... sigh.... I still like them and their games... but now they keep on adding more pokemon.... it's not that hard to keep track of them... for now... but I wonder... 10 years from now, what'll the catch phrase be? "Gotta catch 'em all--all 2019 of 'em"?

Pokemon is a nice game, with a nice mechanics system and a decent amount of complexity, but it does get repetitive over time. I do like the games though, as they are good for strategic planning and what not.

i wont lie, im 18 and i still love pokemon lol, the games are pretty repetitive but theres something about them that just makes me want to play. Plus they never get old, new pokemon every year or two, new bad guys, sweet new moves and all that jazz. all in all i think they are great games and itd be a shame if they stopped making them. though i will admit some of the pokemon are quite retarded....

Heheh...well I have to say this...pokemon as a TGC, anime, manga, ECT is pretty lame. But the games rock. Seriously...any one who says they sucke either hate RPGS or are conformist and just go along with the crowd. A kid at my school LOVED pokemon. One day some kids were talkin bout how much pokemon sucks. so the kig just agreed with him...pitifull what peer pressure does to kids these days...

I still really enjoy pokemon, despite being 17 years old. Reason? It is undoubtly the best game of it's variety. I cant name a single RPG/collect-em-up that even gets anywhere close to it. And the fact that the pokemon are kinda cute also helps.

When the original came first came out I think I was in 2nd or third grade, it was the coolest thing ever. My friend and I would print out the pictures just to cary them around with us (This is before the card game had even been released), I would wake up at 5:30 just to watch the show at 6. I love the original series, and kept up with it untill I was in middle school. I would probably be open to playing the new gamesnow, but I think I would have a lot of game history to learn from the point that I left off and now.
