Budokai 3 has better Ultimate Attacks, but the dragon rush is rigged all to hell, and tenkaichi has the really good story modes, like the what ifs part, those were good and a larger cast. SO if I had to pick one or the other, I guess i would pick Budokai 3.

I currently own both games, and i'll say that tenkaichi is better because the fights are really "high powered", as in you can feel how strong the charactors are. However, Budokai 3 is good in the sense that you can see brolly using his ultimate and the poor victim trying to stop the attack before exploding together with the earth!

I'd say budokai 3 because the fighting system seems much deeper. I've only played tenkaichi once and didn't like it. I felt I had more control over combos and special attacks in budokai.

tenkaichi is way better....I don't play DBZ's games but I saw my friends play it...and its way better..

i still think that budokai 3 is better,gameplay is better and ultimate attacks are coolm but that's just my opinion

You can't compare these games to one another for they are different types of fighting gamesif you play one then the other the difference in the type is clearbut i would say Budokai is more balanced

I like Tenkaichi 2 a lot more for single player but for double player I like Budokai as you can set your health easier and moves.

Im sorry but I disagree with that. Tenchiachi 2 has much more characters to choose from, better graphics and the ability to roam in a 3-d enviroment. Also, much more story to play in story mode. Budokai 3 seems more like a really good 2-d fighting game compared to Tenchiachi 2I prefer budokai 3 but tell me your opinion....thank you

Tenkaichi 2 is more of a dragonball z simulator than a fighter. It has awesome attacks for the main characters(although I hate move recycling for the minor characters). Budokai 3 was an actual fighter that you could pick up and play regardless of being a dbz fan. However, the sheer amount of characters and content of tenkaichi 2 is what makes me like it just a little more than budokai 3. One thing that both games could have done with were some decent cutscenes (see budokai 1)

I own budokai and i have played tenkaichi but i have to say they're both good in their own ways, in tenkaichi it's a lot more of a free style of play. Budokai however is a better in the control aspect where you know and see everything that's going on (if you know wat i mean)

Who the hell are they kidding? Of course you have to go with tenkaichi! Budokai doesn't even have the same amount of characters that tenkaichi has and then the graphics are way better than budokai. Is there anything else to say?
