if I'd have to pick a RPG game I'd say oblivion or morrowind from the TES series, but in the MMO genre, I'd pick either wow, or lotr:o

shooters are fun for a while but I always found that RPGs have a better longterm meaning and entertainment value

RPG gamerany rpg would work on any consolebut whats weird is that almost all of the games i have are rpg's, but im not freak about it.

I think RPG's are meant to do that. Role playing places you into the world of the game and gets people involved. Often, players aren't interested in subtleties like plot or character development. I think we are drawn to RPGs because of how the gameplay meshes in with the story. The Final Fantasy series has revolutionized turn based and now real time game play merging them with great character casts and amazing story lines. Not to mention, it's an experience both visually and aurally. The soundtracks are absolutely amazing- orchestrated or not.

It really depends on the rpg. I really got into FFVII's intro but after you leave midgar I got bored from it.

I like good games but I'm a RPG psycho. Literally. I own almost every bloody every decent JRPG ever came out in Japan for most popular game system. I also enjoy the best WRPGs too.

I'm definitely an addict. i have virtyually every FF (including KH, which I guess inda counts), KOTOR, Jade Empire, others I cant remember (I dont have them any more), am getting Mass effect and Blue Dragon, and will buy a PS3 just for FFXIII if I have to.
