To patch Jump Ultimate Stars, just use all the default options (ie. restart, faster game play and patch cartridge access). Trim rom is optional.

Question about the SC MiniSD. What is the purpose of the backup battery other than to tell it from the fake ones? Since the MiniSD card is removable, I'm assuming it saves the game data on there? Or is it only the roms?

Its impossible to link two DS games on the one ds and flashcart. However you can link a DS and GBA rom with flashcarts.

The backup battery is there to keep data in the RAM for longer when you turn off the power, making QPC (quick power cycle) saves easier. QPC saving is where you turn off the power then quickly turn it on again before the SRAM data is lost, and saving that instead of doing it in the game. Used mainly for GBA games.

Speaking of linking, does SC support Download Play?

Yes and No. Yes, you can use download play to play with others who don't have the game, but the receiving DSs must be flashed in order for the game to work. However, this only applies to some games. For example, before I flashed my friends' DSs we couldn't play Mario Kart DS but we could play Bomberman DS.

Are you using latest firmware, patcher, and are you patching your games before playing? Do you copy the save file onto your flash cart as well?I need to know more before I can help you. Are you patching NDS or GBA games? (I assume it's NDS because rumble can't play GBA)

You will need a SuperCard, the same type of memory card, a passme method and a DS.Example: If you have a regular DS, buy:a SuperCard SD or MiniSD ("SuperCard")a SD or MiniSD memory card (depending on the SuperCard you bought) ("memory card")a SuperKey or PassCard ("passme method")The SuperCard goes in your GBA slot and the PassCard or SuperKey goes in the DS game slot.I know the PassCard works very well, but I haven't tried the SuperKey yet.

Click here to download the SC-Rumble patcher and firmware. For instructions, scroll back up to the first post and read the section called "SuperCard Patcher".

If you have a DS Lite, then that will be a good deal. Note that the SC-Lite won't fit into the regular DS slot. You will need to buy a microSD (not miniSD) memory card which (normally) comes with an SD card adapter (http://www.kicktradi...ex.php?cPath=35, decide on what size you want - a typical DS game is 32/64MB).You will also need an SD card reader for your computer (http://www.kicktradi...products_id=108).To use, put the microSD into the SD adapter, then put the whole thing into the SD card reader, which you insert into your computer through the USB slot. Then, you just patch the roms using the SuperCard software and drag and drop onto your memory card. Then unplug everything and put the microSD card into your SuperCard Lite and play.

both passcard and superkey do the same thing. passcard is more widely used.you must update the firmware of the supercard to the latest if you are going to play the latest games.this is different to flashing your DS, which is changing the firmware of the DS itself, which is not necessary if you use the passcard or superkey.

Definitely, both online and normal multiplayer. There's still the issue with playing downloading with a DS that hasn't been flashed, but that happens to every slot-2 flash cart.

pheonic121 i already downloaded these stuff before.i have the upgrade.scu but what do i do with it???

If you're gonna post the same question in multiple threads, at least post the same details. So you got your supercard in HK. Is it a chinese one or an english one? You must upgrade with the firmware of the same language. Assuming it's english, the upgrade.scu file should work. Also, you say your supercard can't save? this is one of the problems with the fake ones. Are you sure your supercard isn't a fake?
