1. No blessing of the child!2. Durza lured Eragon to find Arya.3. Brom died after they saved Arya.4. Murtagh joined them after Brom dies. (The whole too late thing like you mentioned)5. That leads to the fact that Murtagh wasn't in the battle between Brom, Eragon, and the Ra'Zac6. Eragon and Roran sword fight-play in the beginning (he should have only had sword fight training with Brom)7. Galbatorix's goal is to kill Eragon rather than capturing Saphira.8. No Joeb9. No werecat10. No toad-frog discussion by Angela, heh11. Is Angela blind? :(12. Angela's prophecy is... err'd13. Angela is suppose to be old with dark hair14. She also talks in 3rd person... (can you tell I love Angela?)15. Arya doesn't have black hair (I think she had black hair in the book... unless that was all in my head)16. Ellesmera is also located on the map behind Galbatorix17. Murtagh is lacking weaponry (a sword and a dagger)18. The mention of Murtagh's father was late.19. Roran's love interest in Katrina is absent20. He doesn't leave to work at a mill in order to wed Katrina21. Sloan dies (maybe?)22. Sloan is fat23. Brom's story of the riders is told in front of soldiers instead of traders24. Carvahall has a lot of soldiers in it; I think there were maybe 2 in the book25. Were Horst's son drafted into the army in the book?26. Arya seems to like Eragon at the end27. After being taken away by Saphira, he doesn't stay to recover.28. His legs weren't scrapped up from the flight.29. Saphira names herself30. The Urgals are human-esque without horns whereas they're suppose to be Orc-esque31. Dwarfs seem to be tall32. Elves have no pointy ears33. Yazuac, Therinsford, Teirm, and Dras-leona are absent34. Eragon kills Durza with arrows instead of Murtagh35. Eragon doesn't first use magic in Yazuc but in Daret36. More than 2 Urgals attack Brom and Eragon in the scene that Eragon first uses magic37. One Ra'Zac dies and it is hinted there are more than 238. Durza's sword isn't present

Agaeti Blodhern is an elven ceremony signifying the bond between the elves and the dragons. A special dance is performed and the eternal dragon appears.

As Nivi said - "Agaeti Blodhern is an elven ceremony signifying the bond between the elves and the dragons. A special dance is performed and the eternal dragon appears."It is a scared performance where 2 eleves with dragons painted on them perform a dance in front of the big tree. It is like summoning an eternal dragon with super natural powers.

Agaeti Blodhern means blood oath. It's to honor the pact between the dragons and the elves (as well as humans?). The significance in the story was that it healed Eragon and turned him into, seemingly, a elf/elf-human mix, increasing his speed, strength, etc., and magic capabilities.--edit-- Ooo crap >> a little too late...
