I've always liked Rpgs for their ability to allow you to create your own team, customize your weapons, and even choose the storyline. RPG Maker is a great game to play.

Gameplay and Story. If a game has a crap story but good gameplay, I can invent my own story to go along with it.If a game has crap gameplay but a good story, I can tolerate the gameplay. Now, if a game has neither... :/

I much prefer MMORPG games over anything else, but occaisonally will sit down and break out Final Fantasy and Oblivion. Kingdom Hearts was also a great game though, played 1 and 2, hoping there will be a 3.The only way I will play an RPG though is if it has a good storyline and a few hours of gameplay at the least. The controls have to be well put in on Consoles.

The reason I play RPG's is mostly for the story. Some of them have such twists and turns that they are more effective on a person than to read a book. XP Although, battles (gameplay) is fun too. XP XD Massacre them monsters!

I play mostly for the story, but I do enjoy the gameplay. Turn-based gameplay is by far my favorite, and it's saddening how that gameplay is considered old and not up to standards these days. I hope Sakaguchi continues to make turn-based RPGs for the next gen systems. Lost Odyssey is amazing.

I like rpg's for gameplay mostly. Usually the stories are better for an rpg, but I look specifically for gameplay (and no i do not like WoW).

The reason i love rpgs is simply because I like seeing my character evolve throughout the game. He becomes stronger, learns things about life, stuff like that.Sometimes when i get towards the end of a game i restard because in the end when you reach the maximum it aint fun anymore you just hit and hit, as when you're weak you have to heal, blablabla. There you go.

I personally like adventure or action games. Some RPG games are so boring like when you have to find a piece of a puzzle and you go crazy when you can't find it.

I guess I play for the gameplay and the story. Replay value is usually lacking for RPG's... especially when compared to something like super smash bro's. That game has about 10000% replay value. so good. In comparison, once I learned the plot of pokemon and tried to go back and beat it... I got bored quickly.

RPG take the longest so i think its worth ur money more, i just like to use tactics eand keep thinking of new ones on hard bosses, rpg bosses give you more of a rush then any other game if you ask me.
