Totally agree with avoiding high levels. Your GFs should tower over your characters' levels. I believe Adel is weak against Wind element so junction Tornado to your physical attacks will come in handy. Casting Regen on Rinoa can also help because Adel drains her HP. Limit breaks can work but its risky because some of them can hit Rinoa also.Actually, leveling is to be avoided in FF8 since monsters level up with your character. Therefore, it is better just to have low levels and good junctioned magic for the majority of the game. Adel is really easy, just don't attack Rinoa and concentrate your (physical) attacks on Adel. All you need is brute force and healing. If all else fails, cast aura and limit break her to death (with single target limits...).Edit: can't seem to spell things today....

Well.. That's your opinion. Anyway, Adel. Leveling isn;t really that terrible.. Sure Adel's health will raise.. but she shouldn't really be that difficult by that stage. I reccomend refining any cards you have and/or using Carmod on enemies hopefully to get you some Meltdowns as they do help a lot. If you do still lose.. Start again?Actually it happened to me the first time I played the game

Were you listening? The monsters level up -with you-, sir. Overleveling is exactly what would screw someone in this game.As for how to beat Adel..Well, as the others said:Just use Limit Breaks and regular attacks, make sure your junctions have your characters as high in stats as is possible. Using Aura on your characters is a good tactic as well. I haven't played the game in years, so forgive me for my lack of knowledge..I'd recommend that if you can't beat it using this tactic, try www.gamefaqs.com for some other ideas.Leveling is ALL IMPORTANT in any rpg, let alone a final fantasy which is infamous for overleveling. So ya I'd say you're screwed.

its not really an advantage to have a high level coz the eneimes will be the same level as you and in a sense just as strong as you are. its actually a disadvantage sometimes because the higher the level of your enemy then he will be able to access new a deadlier attacks that werent available in its lower levelsbe care ful w/ limit breaks especially those that hit multiple targets coz theyll hit rinoa. refrain from using squall as well because he might use fated circle or blasting zone coz theyll hit rinoa. cast healing spells and maybe even regen on rinoa for this battle tooWere you listening?
