there are a total of 9X4 cubes on the borders of the top face of the cube. that plus the other 9X4 at the bottom. Afther that there are still the side borders or the height edges.. which ever you call it. There are 10 of those on each edge. minusing the ones from the top and bottom there are 8 on each edge. There are 4 horizontal edges. Thus the total is the borders at the top and bottom of the cube, 9X4X2 minusing the 8 corners which have 3 sides painted + the side edges 8X4 = 96.. a lil more detail.. hope it makes sense

96 cubes10 cm make 10 cubes each edge, 2 of them have painted on 3 faces so there are 8 cubes on 1 edgethere are 12 edge on cubes so it will be 12X8=96

Only 1 side would be removing the cubes with more than 1 so that means removing the edges and corners. The square remaining on the faces are 8 by 8 squares = 64 cubes, since there are 6 sides then it would be 6*64 = 384.How ever if ye meant 1 side and more faces with paint then it would be all the squares on the outside so this would mean 384 + 96+8 = 488, Adding all the cubes so far mentioned.

384one side of the cube:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXin blue the cubes that have 3 faces painted (4)in red the cubes that have 2 faces painted (32)in black the cube that have 1 face painted (64)the cubes that have only 1 face painted dont coincides with in 2 faces of the big cube6 faces x 64 cubes per face = 384 cubes that have only 1 painted sideedit:if you mean cubes with at least one painted side384(one painted side) + 96 (two painted sides) + 8 (three painted sides) = 488

I would say 488 cubes. Before you said only when it was only. For the reason why it is 488 see my previous reply.

The cubes aren't coloured make up the cube on the inside. This cube has a length of 8 cubes on each side as there is 1 cube layer around the inner non-coloured cube(hope that makes sense)8*8*8 = 512So 512 cubes are not coloured.

Ok here goesLet the number of cubes that make up one edge of the big cube be "n" ( n = 10 in the previous questions)Number of cubes which have 3 faces coloured(painted) will always = 8Number of cubes with ONLY 2 faces painted = 12*(n-2)Number of cubes with 2 faces painted or more = 12*(n-2) + 8Number of cubes with ONLY 1 face painted = ((n-2)^2) * 6Number of cubes that have 1 or more sides painted = [((n-2)^2) * 6 ] + [12*(n-2)] + [8]Number of cubes with no faces painted = (n-2)^3

I suppose in 7 minutes^^You can arrive there shortly, but I'm twisted, here is my method.girl=function, pages=result of the function, x=minutes:girl(x)=pSo7girl(7)=7 for hypotesys. And so, dividing by 7:girl(7)=1.One girl needs 7 minutes to make one page^^

Each girl writes a letter in 7 minutes, so 7 girls write 7 letters in 7 minutes. So, 1 girl would write a letter in seven minutes.

3 min is already late, to be an hour late, the train need to be 57 more min late. In 57 min, there is 3420 sec.The train is getting late 3 sec per min. So for the train to be late 3420 sec, it needs = 1140 min. Therefore, the answer is 1140 min
