1 kg of cotton is easier. some shirts contain 1 kg of cotton, and are easy to carry, whereas i have never seen someone where 1 kg of steel all day...if they did, theyd be like me...hehehe...strong, not stupid...ahem...cough cough...

It is (2/3)n I don't know how to place it here. But it would be better in words : two third of n. YOu are wrong try again.

It's a very simple series:a1=3d=2/3Sn=[2a1+(n-1)d]*n*0.5That's the formula for the sum of the first n numbers in this kind of series:S24=(2*3+23*2/3)*23*0.5=245+1/3=245.333333333333333333333333Am I right?

OK, I calculated it the hard way (24*3+2/3+4/3+6/3+8/3+10/3+...+48/3) and it came out 272.Edit: and I see my mistake now - I said 3 was a1, but if you put n=1 into the equation, you'll get that a1=3+2/3.

Correct. 2 points for you because I didn't understand what you said. I just saw the question and the answer and gave it here! Also 1 point to me. Check out what mistake I made in my previous as well as this post to know why.The Rules :- Answer in full sentences- Give a reasons why you think so and explain it properly- Each question carries 1 point untill I mention the marks.- The first one to reach 50 points wins.Q. 41 Step 1: Multiply by 2.Step 2: Subtract 1.Step 3: If less than 10, jump to step 1 and contine from there; otherwise proceed to step 4.Step 4: Add 7.Step 5: Divide by 2.Step 6: Add 2Step 7: Multiply by 2.If you start with the value of 6, calculate how many times you had to jump to step 1.WINNERS :Hadel : INightmare !!! : IScoreBoard :Nightmare !!! : 23Mosthunted : 4.5Channel28 : 5The Mightiest :5trancebam : 4Chaniel : 2Tidus_the_almighty : 2weirdguy : 2Cgfreak : 2Rhig : 2garfieldrulz8888 : 1.5LiLaSiiAn8 : 1.5monomer : 1TreuZetsuei : 1Sir VG : 1ESXgw : 1aman27deep : 1Dac2u : 1vbvbvb : 1DVS 2006 : 1Golrath : 1LosTiE : 1Eärendil : 1yeahyeahyeah : 1Zennalathas : 1MidgarZolom : 1Deadrevenger : 1Golrath : 1mrlll : 1SoraRikuRoxas : 1NOTE : I will deliberately make mistakes and you people have to spot them. Ahhh...i think this is it1) 5 + 5 + 5 = 550. Put a line through the equal sign and you have a true statement (5 + 5 + 5 (is not equal) to 550)2) 5 + 5 + 5 = 550. Put a small diagonal line connceting the top and left of the 1st "+" sign to make it a 4. Then you have 5 4 5 + 5 = 550pretty tricky..lol

When you say tossed 3 times does that mean Coin1 gets tossed 3 times, Coin2 3 times, etc. or each coin once? ... what would that change ... nothing really. And also is order important?, example is TTH and HTT and THT the same result or different results? If TTH and HTT and THT are not the same result then:TTTTTHTHTTHH <HTTHTH <HHT <HHH <2 or more heads happens 50% of the time.If TTH and HTT and THT are the same result then:TTTTTHTHTTHH <HHH <2 or more heads happens 40% of the time.

3 times...it depends on your toss and your flip speed...and your coin position...this is how it works...First, I'll put the coins facing me the heads...if at least the coins flipped 2ft high;HHT,HTH,THT...with your flipping speed of 10rps... (haha!! need to be accurate)Then if Tails face you;THT,HTT,HHH...I don't know why but you need to be accurate...Then, If you flipped the coins in random height and speed, the probability is:3 trials;THT, TTH, and HHH... 1st attemptHHT, THH, and TTH... 2nd attemptTTT, THT and HTH... 3rd attemptit's in scientific experimentation...but logically, you need your self at constant action if you want to repeat it continuously...and for something, you need some luckSorry if double post but,... Is my answer that hard it takes time?...

1440.. Because every time the minute hand goes around they line up to form 180 degrees.. so thats 60 times every hour and 24 hours.. so 60 x 24 = 1440...POINTS were deducted for this post by Dovie'AndiPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

If you flip one coin, you have a 1/2 chance of getting heads as a result. With two coins, you have a 1/3 chance of getting any specific result. With three coins, the chances of a specific result stand at 1/4.With that statement made, the percentage of tosses having two or more coins showing heads is 50% per toss.To recieve that result twice in a row, the percentage drops to 25%.For a third consecutive toss, the percentage of success drops to 12.5% or 1 time in every 8.

Maybe, this is the hardest question...But I have another simple idea...if 2 heads, out of 3 coins...Then, it's just a matter of luck of about 2/3 or 4/6 tosses...But if your hands are not in well condition and always flips at a low height...Then, put the tails facing you, it will work!!Try it!!

The answer is 50%. There is no way that it can be 2/3 or 4/6. There is a 4/8 chance of getting at least 2 heads out of 3 coins that are tossed simultaneously. Just because there is a 50 50 chance of getting a head, doesn't mean that it will equal to 2/3. Just think about it and draw a tree diagram and then you'll see.

Even though there is six different orders, there are only four different types of combinations, and it said at least 2 heads meaning more than two headsthe combinations go like this: HHH, HHT, HTT, TTT,The ratio of the answer is 2/4, so if you divide it you would get 50%.
