Luminous arc has great graphics. 8DThe gameplay is kinda similar to Final Fantasy games, so yeah. x3

While I like 3-D models I prefer sprites on my handheld still. That is why I'm going to say Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. I was re-playing it recently and I've never noticed how smooth the animations were and everything.

i beg to differ. that game was horrible (graphically speaking)...and it didn't reallie make full use of the DS's dual screen for boss fights until around the second to last boss.It's LoZ:PH, definitely the best

Ninja Gaiden. It looks cool, not like the 360 or PS3 versions but is smooth and full of detailes and textures.

To me the games with the best graphics are the ones that are the most stylized, instead of trying to match the realistic graphics of the consoles. The DS just doesn't have the strength to be very realistic, so the best games are one that pick a certain visual style. I'm thinking mostly of Phantom Hourglass, but also games like Ninja Gaiden and Metroid work in this regard also.

Eragon had pretty good graphics for a western DS game. AS for japanese, Revenant wings at the moment looks the best, but maybe Dragons Quest will change that.

Ninja Gaiden has 3D characters on pre rendered backgrounds with a smooth frame rate. Final Fantasy IV DS is a close second though followed by Zelda: PH.
