Vote goes to RPGs but no strategy games? My favorites are FE6, Yggdra Union, Advance Wars.
Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.

I have a hard time playing a game where the people don't look like real people. I could never stand things like Mario. I have a soft spot for weird lil animals though. And the undead. And elves.

RPG 99.9% of the time. However, strategy-RPGs (like Fire Emblem) and any-other-genre-RPGs are also making their way up my list. I like some shooters and mysteries, Brain Age is one of those addictive-at-first games for me and Horror genres aren't allowed anywhere near my console. Unless they're horror-RPG.

I have always been a hardcore rpg head but as of late the rpgs are just the same old stuff. When i play one that is some what original it's fun fun fun. To bad that happens once a year if that. Anyways my point is that i have been thinking of switching to other things like platformers or shooters; something new. i have been playing rpgs for 20 years and i need to change to a general gamer now. The last good rpg i played but still got a little bored half way through is rouge galaxy.

I'm more than one of those... RPG Fanatic, Speed Demon, and Collector... I collect certain series, I don't know why, I also own a couple of games that I planned on playing but never opened them.

I like puzzle games, although I really have no problem with any games other than ones you have to be have knowledge of to really be good at, such as sports games. Like I said before, I'm a fan of puzzles such as Sudoku games and crosswords. I tend to also pick games that deal with an anime series I like even if it's a genre I don't usually play, such as the Naruto games even though I am not big on fighting games. I also like games which you can customize to make the main character anyway you want them to be

I play all games, but I tend to lean slightly toward roleplay, and even more toward stratagy. I still enjoy the other games though (except sport and driving games *shudder*)

im a hardcore FPS gamer i own all of my friends no one can touch me at halo 2 other than that im a casual gamer i never really finish games i dont know why it kinda nags at me too

first, man, i gotta commend you on a well put-together poll... second... i'm a hardcore gamer. i like almost all games, and i especially love the really bad ones :-P of course, i don't ONLY love the really bad ones. anyway, rpgs, shooters, and some strategy games are what i dig most. as i've said in one other post, an rpg/shooter would be great... kinda like advent rising. i really enjoyed that game even though apparently it really sucked... i dunno...

Well, I voted RPG fanatic because I play those the most, but I've got a touch of casual too... luckily, the games I drop like a rock are downloaded and thus not wasted money on, I only buy the games I really want.
i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.
and then. looking at it.
to see if I still liked it.

i actually fit in many of those choicesso i just picked casual gamer loli love ff 10's story line and etci love action and fps and yet i barely finishmuch of the game
