I am also looking for a better SNES emulator, and I've searched high and low. I don't think there are many options. People create these emulators because it is their hobby, so we are completely at their mercy. On another note, looks like I need to check out jgenesis.

so far jgenesis has been the best ds emu ive found. very few errors. snesmulds has errors for just about every game and too much freezing to play a game from start to finish and stay sane. lameboy is pretty good also as is the nes emus.snezi vs snesmulds? which is better? i really wanna play ff6 but its crap on snesmulds.

Unfortunately, its better on snemulds. I've been playing jgenesis because I've never owned a Sega console and never experienced their famous franchises. I know now that they are not my taste, I wish I could appreciate them more. Luckily, Apollo Justice and Professor Layton have me preoccupied while I wait for a better SNES emu.

*gulps*I'm afraid I'm very confused. I only recieved a Revolution...game...cart thing for Christmas and I only just know how to use that - I don't understand the terminology at all, or what I need to do. I basically want to play Advance and Color games on my DS, using the micro-SD-card-in-a-DS-cart thing...do I need to download software to make it work, and what do I do with the games afterwards? (specifically Legend of Zelda Oracle games)...

By Revolution do you mean R4? well anyway to play GB Color games get the lameboy DS emulator and place that along with your gameboy roms onto your micro SD then run the lameboy.nds game which will let u browse through your card and start the gameboy roms that you have selected with 'a'.For GBA you'll need a EzFlash 3in1(Looks like a GBA cartridge), and a program called "Rudolph's 3in1 exppack tool" to play gba roms. the GBA roms need to go into a folder called "GBA" on the root folder(main directory of your micro SD eg "f:")

man i hate the ds emus so bad. i want to play chrono trigger but even i cant put up with the choppyness. ive seen nes games with better animation. i dream of the day a decent snes emu is out for ds. youd think nintendo fanboys would decipher a good snes before a good genesis, but thats not the case.

So, there's no way to emulate GBA games on the R4 without getting any extra parts? Shame.

When I downloaded snezzi ds v 0.28a from the pocket heaven link I found it a bit fishy, I used my virus scanner and it detected 3 pieces of malware! They were all called Backdoor.Win32.Agent.ezx ! So don't download snezzi ds version 0.28a!Edit: seems that only 0.28a had malware, 0.28 hasn't got any

I feel the exact same way; Chrono Trigger is basically the only SNES game I want to play. I've been thinking about getting a PSP because its homebrew is impeccable, I hear. Oh, and snemulds v0.5 isn't any better than v0.6. As for Genesis games, I tried Phantasy Star IV, Gunstar Heroes, Sonic 3, and Shining Force. I'd say SF was the one I enjoyed the most, but I still probably won't beat it.

I've been using snezzids for my m3 simply but I simply can't get the game to load. What I do is download a game from DGEMU, whatever extension it may be, drag it on top of the .exe, pops out a snesgame.nds and I try to load that game and it doesn't work. Any help? Do I need to dldi patch?

Are you using the latest firmware and then writing the SRAM save to a .sav file after sacing ingame? if that doesn't work try using save states

most if not all ds emulators will be listed in the emulator topic first page as it is updated, also check dev-scene for updates. at this moment, there is nothing really new. still nothing that plays mario rpg on the ds either, at least with a dstt alone. going to run it again when i get my expansion cart and see if the extra memory boosts it at all.
