I buy games AND play ISOs. To be exact, I play the ISOs first, and if I think it's worth it, I buy the actual game to show some support for the gaming economy. Of course, I won't be above total piracy if my financial situation were worse of.

that counts as a reason now!? when i used to do that anyone that found out got pissed at me...anyway i pay for my games now i used to play only isos though and i still play isos for japanese only games Japanese games? you are from Japan? btw what's your firmware?

My PSP 1000 allows me to play any game from USA, Europe, And ASIA.Does this mean that only specific Firmwares allow u to play different regions

Despite being a poor college student and fired from my job, I buy my games. Then if I have space and if the load times are horrible( takes longer than 15~30 seconds), I rip it from the UMD. Other then that I also support PSN by downloading legal games. Being poor isn't a reason, there is something called saving up... That said... JPN PSP games are fair game. Freaking import rates...

Sometimes it is much easier to download games from the internet. Being poor isīnot the only reason people use ISOs. I myself love to use ISOs since it makes sure that if the game sucked, that i would not waste any money.

but do they work on the psp version 3000?

If you get it bricked, then u can...But i heard that the PSP 3000 is not as good as the older systems when it comes to hacks since the firewalls are bigger pains in the Butt

I always buy games... I think it's better to buy them, even if they are expensive

My question is why buy an expensive game that can always scratch up and become unreadable, If u can download it and if it gets corrupted, then redownload it.

I try to buy the games, but I will NEVER buy a 2nd hand UMD. The UMD can break and I will have no idea what the previous owner have done to it. The greatest hit games like God of War or Rachet and Clank is only $20 at walmart. I think that price is still reasonable for those games. I researched for a long time wanting to hack my PSP 3000. But I have found out that you can accidently brick you PSP. That made me very scared even though you can only brick it if you flash stuff. I am a noob at those hacking things and I will not risk bricking it to play some Isos.

I think it's like DVD's. Sometimes you like it so much you want the case, cover, and book. I do see ISO's as hurting the industry, but we all do what we can, supply and demand. These days it's hard to keep honest people honest.

Being poor isn't a reason, there is something called saving up..

I mainly use ISO's because games are seriously overpriced in my country (would you pay 100$ for God of War: Chains of Olympus?) but when i'm abroad I buy UMD's.

I think it's like DVD's. Sometimes you like it so much you want the case, cover, and book.

The reason I bought Killzone: Liberation.

ISO's, cause buying is expensive, and importing is lame, especially since I don't have a credit card, and my parents won't let me use theirs on something like a game.

I'm pretty sure my PSP version is unhackable (I've got a 3000) so I buy my games. But even if it were, I'd buy the games I really like anyway.

I pretty much never buy games for my PSP anymore since it got modded. It's a wonderful thing to have, besides it saving tons of money. And if anything, it forced me to buy a larger memory stick to play MORE games and watch anime on my PSP.Personally, i haven't found any PSP games worth my time to spend money on. I'm quite content with downloading ISOs/CSOs forever.

I ISO, I see no need to buy games when for a small cost of time, I could mod the PSP and get them for free. Games get too expensive anyways and I'm really stingy with my money, then again, I pirate almost all my games...DS, computer, music.
