Resident Evil 4 made me happy enough for a long time that NOW I'm very happy to see the 5th coming out. The trailer? Simply amazing. Totally worth getting. Looks very terrifying also

Yes, I cannot wait for this title either. Big, big events are going to happen in this as it's supposed to finally come to a close with the return of Chris. I'm fully expecting the gameplay to be as fluid as it was in RE4. I think we're on a train ride on par to MGS4 with the plot twists that are coming.

I prolly wont be lining up for this game but ill for sure look up the game reveiws. If they say its good then ill prolly come to my senses and buy it.

its about time they make a new resident evil around the redfields im just happy that its chris and im sure that claire is going to be in it too lol its gonna be a kick @$$ gamebow down to the zombies *amen*

Resident Evil 5 is looking great to me. Only problem I have is what I saw of the demo at e3, if you notice the enemys act just like they did in 4, meaning half retarded, for instance then run full speed at you and then at the last 5feet or so they stop and walk very slowly, I was hoping they woulda fixed that but nope. I just hope we have more of those scenes where the main character runs into a house and has to move furniture to keep them out and then run up the stairs grab the shotgun and go out the window

this game has me so psyched up for the resident evil series' direction. I absolutely love RE 4 and as much of a groundbreaking installment as it was, RE 5 just looks to be even more so. Co-op is gonna rock, the enemies look smarter(though certain animations when they got shot were clearly recycled from RE 4), the areas are so detailed, and best of all...Chris Redfield!!! Kickass! This game is gonna be frickin scary and i love it!

i think its the culmination of all RE games and it sits to be the best yet... but what do you think about he whole prejudice hype about the game

Resident Evil 4 was a break-through game that changed the series forever. I, personally, hated the original series and it's robotic movements and merciless door-animations. But after about 2 minutes of watching my friend unleash real-time fury on his Game Cube, I had to get it for my PS. Sadly, the port wasn't quite as pretty, but all in all it was a great release. RE 5...I'm dyin' to play.MDude you really NEED to have a go on RE4, I'm guessing that you've avoided it because of your dislike of the series, it's much more about the action and a lot less about puzzles. I know numerous people who when they finally ended up having a go, were pissed off that they didn't play it earlier. I'm going to be picking up RE5 without a doubt, they did wonders with the series for RE4 and if that's going to continue in the same vein I can hardly wait!

Seems you are forgeting what impact the first Resident Evil game had, it paved the terrain for such game as Silent hill who now became a staple in the Survival Horror genre. as far as RE 5 goes, I wet my pants every night waiting for that damn game to come outResident Evil 4 was a break-through game that changed the series forever.
