If you want to make some yourself, you need Adobe Photoshop and/or Paint Shop Pro. Otherwise, make a request and who knows, your wish might be granted.

you click the "my controls" located on the top of your screen and select "avatar options" or "edit signature" and change them.prepare for this topic to be closed!

I think i get what do you mean.If you want to upload your own sigs/pics/avatars you need to first find a picture host for them.Image Shack is the one i use. 
When you have uploaded the image on the host you should get a direct link to the image.That should help somewhat.
