This is an awesome game. i love Final Fantasy Tacics games. The one flaw i found with this game though is that once you've completed it you can't continue fighting random battles and doing errands if that were fixed the game would be way better cause you could still raise your people.

I meant the battle system, is it like line up in a line and have a speed bar, or is it turn system where you go by speed and have a board to move around and hack people from behind?

Definitely one of the reasons I'm interested in a PSP, along with the Tales of game that it got a while ago.

turn system where you go by speed/CT and have a field to move around and hack/cast magic on/jump/steal/summon on people from 4 directions. that should be abt right

I believe it will be a little less fun than the original, only because the game developers added in 2 new classes (Dark Knight, Onion Knight) which kind of... destroys my image of the game. Personally, I would play it if I had a PSP anyway, but probably avoid the new classes.

I'm enjoying this game quite a bit but it's really difficult...but at last, there's a game that's actually a challenge, rather than something you finish in a couple of days, it's fantastic value for money

I have this game and it's pretty good! It's not like Advanced where your just some random guy that goes to another world to fight monsters, theres actually a story lol. Though the sound affects and action animations could've had some workd done. You should have been able to just skip battle animations .

I just loved the very first tactics on the PS1 with the job system and the grid battle system which was totally an underrated final fantasy game (no thanks to final fantasy 7 popularity clouding over tactics.... pun unintended). What's great about this report is the rewrote script and added video cut scenes, added new jobs, additional hero characters from famous ivalice final fantasy games and the option to take it with you on the go.There's just one hitch... a very... verrrrryyy big hitch. While playing the game, it reminded me of the time I played tactics on my PC through those PS1 emulators, and that's how it played like. The animation was so friggin slow that even an attack takes a whole 5 second and the sound effects didn't emulate that well as it also sounded like that on the PC. Still, this is still square's finest remade final fantasy on the PSP and still waiting on the upcoming final fantasy tactics A2 on the DS.

I'm definitely thinking of shelling out the extra cash to get this, even though I have the PSX version. I'm pretty sure the PSP version doesn't have anything extra, but the portability is enough for me to want it.

if you have the money for it, definitely pick it up. i do have some gripes about the graphics. not that they weren't good, but that they were a bit... blurry? maybe it's just me.
